This is like watching an election night, the suspense is killing me.

Was that banner ad for the Kickstarter there before? I don't remember seeing it.

Didn't even know you had a Kickstarter running. :P

    5. Ryan Sohmer 10-time creator on March 12

@Craig - Hey Craig! I'm afraid this is for LICD Books only. You can grab any LFG books or Merch you need at! Thanks!

hey is it possible to add on LFG books as well? i'm missing book 8

    7. Ryan Sohmer 10-time creator on March 5

@mythosaur - You're absolutely right! Just waiting for all parties to return from ECCC to get that done :)

    8. Mythosaur on March 5

I think you need to advertise the Kickstarter better on the LICD website

    9. Sam Murdock on March 4

After a bit of googling I now know 'newly released' was the wrong term... but I live in Tasmania and we're always quite a few years behind...

    10. Sam Murdock on March 4

I feel like there's not enough conversation on this KS... so on that note, I am totally surprised there hasn't been any strip done to date on Rayne's reaction on the UK debacle of the white creme eggs or the newly released creme egg ice cream (I mean seriously? An ice cream based off a fondant?)

    11. Ryan Sohmer 10-time creator on March 2

@James - Thank you! We know the shipping is harsh, especially for where you are, but as mentioned below, it's the best we can get! That makes folks like you supporting us mean more than you can ever know. I'm sure some extra goodies will find their way into everyone's boxes, but your support is appreciated!

Just backed for all the books, that shipping is horrendus :( throw a few extra things in the box for me pretty please :P

    13. Ryan Sohmer 10-time creator on March 2

@Sam - You got it! We've got new rewards we're adding weekly, so be sure and check back often!

    14. Sam Murdock on March 1

So just double checking... so it's $10 extra in shipping for each extra LICD book? Either way I'm getting all the ones I need (since webstore is $36 USD vs $25 CA here, a saving of $20 AUD), I just need to know how much to pledge.

Also, feel free to think about adding more extras to the add-ons... the card game for me, the fel bunny (not LICD but shhh) for my daughter ;)

    15. Ryan Sohmer 10-time creator on February 26

@Buddakeks - Totally understand. We have looked into several different European distribution methods, but there isn't anything out there (yet) that is cost-effective for us, which would have to be partially absorbed by the customer anyway. As for other Kickstarters, I can assure you, if they are shipping over 15lbs of books to Germany from Canada, they are paying the same shipping rates. As for Essen, I can't say if/when we will be back because if you think shipping 15lbs of books from Canada to Germany is rough, try shipping a pallet's worth ;)

Yay 1$ pledge only to be able to comment.

Yes I've read that the shipping costs are tight and that you have a hard time lowering it. But I hope you'll find another solution. I'd do a lot to get my hands on the Years 0-14. But an additional 140 CA$ just for shipping (to germany), making it almost double. That's too hard.

How can other Kickstarters do it? Are you planning to visit The "Spiel" in Essen Germany again? Is there a distribution option with a contactor in central Europe?

I have reading gloves for guests.

Technoir; you let people TOUCH your books?

Nope, not going to let anyone put their greasy fingerprints on my LICD books, the Digger Omnibus, Sithrah, Wormworld, Dreamkeepers, Gold Digger Gold Bricks or any of the really good stuff!

    19. Technoir on February 20

20% of the way there, with 29 days to go. suh-weet.

    20. Technoir on February 20

I want it all! I WANT IT ALL! I want it all, and I want it NOW! (but i can wait till October).

Woot. This is gonna look great in my new home office/library. And when my friends and family ask me "WTF is 'Least I Could DO'?!" I will hush them, and hand them the Omnibus. "Sit. Read. Laugh. You're welcome."

    21. Ryan Sohmer 10-time creator on February 20

@tyler - The omnibus is volumes 1-5, so if you have 1-5 already, youre set, unless you'd like to get a new version :)

@Philip - There's no plans for PDF's at the moment. It's one of those things we've debated, but hasn't ranked high on the priority list. That said, never say never!

    22. Philip James Harker on February 20

Will there be any option of getting everything in PDF format?
I would love the physical books, but shipping to the UK (plus getting stung with an additional 20% + £8 on top in taxes and fees) is kinda prohibitory.

      Tyler Willis on February 19

The omnibus - does it contain anything new/extra as compared to already having LICD vols 1-5?

Just a thought - some might like the 13+14 and a sketch...but there's really not an option for that. Just omnibus + sketch.

    24. Ryan Sohmer 10-time creator on February 19

@Gadgetman - Yeah, Shipping sucks. Period. We've structured it to be as fair as we can, and I assure we are not making ANYTHING off the shipping. In fact we lose a bit on just about every order. But, we want you guys to be able to get this stuff, so we cut it as close to the wire as we can.

    25. Mariana Franzetti on February 19

So excited! I have all the current books lined up on my shelf. Can't wait to add the next two.

I just backed for the Twofer package( books 13 and 14), and since I have the first 5 from the old KS... I figured I might as well close the gap slightly and order a few of the in-betweeners. I understand that the price is $15 for each, but an additional $10 for shipping (I'm in Norway) for each?
I'm already paying $50 in shipping for the first 2... There's something here that's not...

    27. Ryan Sohmer 10-time creator on February 19

@puggimer - An interesting idea, but I think since the last one was such an adventure, we'll be laying off the Slipcases for a while :)

    28. Puggimer ( Michael Carter )
      on February 19

      Because I can.

Love the slipcase for the books, however once loaded it is a bit 'hernia-inducing' due to it's weight. I'd like to see a stretch goal for new slipcases that each hold a 'reasonable' amount of books. 5 would be good to match the new omnibus. You could do three of thee - 0-5 (yes, I think the black and white strips should also be included in the omnibus), 6-10 and 11-15 (and give you a little incentive to get 15 out on time!
