Your favorite fantasy comic needs your help to get animated!
"Looking For Group" or LFG is an award-winning comic available for free online. It is a fantasy based story that feature characters that will seem familiar if you are a fan of role playing games both pen and paper or video game in nature. It updates twice a week, Monday and Thursday. LFG has been updating since 2006 and follows the adventures of an unlikely group of heroes. Maybe ‘heroes’ is too strong a word here. Let’s just call them adventurers.

LFG is the original creation of these two guys:
Fans of LFG know that there has been a movie in the works since forever. Earlier in the year we Kickstarted an animated sequence from the movie and the campaign went above and beyond our expectations. It showed us that the fans were still very much interested in a full length feature. We used the extra money that we had raised to start working on pre-production elements. Things were getting done and it was a very exciting time. Then we started to look at costs and time. It was crushing to know how much money we would need and how long it would take this movie to see the light of day. Then it came to us: LFG would make a much better series than movie!
The series will be a re-telling of the story as it stands. One of the problems with a twice-weekly comic is that you can lose the thread of the story. With the series, we'll be able to tell the same story but with a much smoother flow. The pilot will cover the first 4 issues of the comic.
We've worked with many talented voice actors through the years and we are pretty sure that you will recognize most of our cast:
We have been producing animations for years and have an excellent understanding about the process and the costs associated.
Here is a breakdown of where the money will be going and how much each element of the project will cost:

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
There are so many things that can wrong once a Kickstarter ends. Luckily, we've encountered most of them already. We have experienced everything from animation studios going bankrupt to disagreements with printers, to writers-block to transcontinental shipping issues. And we have still delivered on every project.
We will keep you in loop at all times about what is going on and where we are in the process. We will be as transparent as possible and when delays occur, you will know about it.
Have a question? If the info above doesn't help, you can ask the project creator directly.
