The ATX Breakout Board was first designed in Cadsoft Eagle, making sure every component would fit correctly.
Next the files were sent off to a PCB house, I have chosen to have the contacts gold plated (ENIG) as this will provide a better electrical connection and corrosion resistance for the solder joints.
After ordering all the necessary components, the boards are soldered together. The ATX breakout boards come with a clear Polycarbonate base to protect the board.
The ATX Breakout board is compatible with 20 pin and 24 pin power supply's, also there is an extra 4 pin connector to take advantage of the 12V CPU Power for extra current output. The output voltages are 12V 5V and 3.3V. Also there is a USB Charging port capable of supplying 5 Amp.
The output ports of the ATX Breakout board require no tools to use and simply snap into position holding the wire in place.

Risks and challenges
The biggest challenge is to make sure all boards meet the highest standards, and to make sure all shipments are fulfilled in the required time. As this is my second project on Kickstarter hopefully the process should go a lot smoother.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
