A hearty "welcome" to all the new backers since we launched Saturday morning. It's great to see you!
As some of you know, we launched this Kickstarter at Gary Con. The project went live right before our traditional "What's New with Goodman Games" seminar. And we had some special guests join us at the seminar: Bob Bledsaw, Jr. was there in person to help launch the Kickstarter, and his sons Bob III and Aaron were also in attendance. They drove up in the morning and were back on the road before dinner so they would have time to continue to work on their other projects.
Gary Con was a terrific experience, and the response to this Kickstarter was extremely positive. We're very grateful for everyone's support both in person and online!
Soon we will catch up after the con, and post a recording of the seminar for everyone to view. In the meantime, here are a couple photos you may enjoy.
After our "What's New" seminar, we held a raffle for some of the "printer artifacts" displayed at the seminar. Five lucky con attendees walked away with these items, which included several items from the Judges Guild project: the original printer sample, the complete draft of current layout printed on 11"x17" paper, and a shorter draft of current layout printed at actual size of 13"x18". Here are the winners in front of our booth. Congrats guys!
Fans who backed the Judges Guild Kickstarter while at Gary Con received a free pin. The pin is modeled after the original Judges Guild pins, as shown below:
Thanks again to everyone who has already pledged for the Kickstarter. Over the next 30 days we look forward to sharing lots of stories about the Guild - and of course sharing even more information as the finished book is published!
