Ok, so I wanted to make a cute KICKSTARTER video but honestly I was a bit overwhelmed so I decided to just speak from the heart. Let's just be real. She keeps it real. I'm ready to make another album. She's back from her tour, she's feeling nice & rested and she's ready to get into the studio and make new music! It's been over a year since I released my last album and I'm really inspired to create new music. I've grown as an artist and have collected a lot of inspiration on my travels.
Being an independent artist is extremely rewarding because I am in charge of everything from creative direction to bookings. I love what I do and I work my butt off. Sometimes finding ways to fund projects gets tricky. Studio time and production fees are expensive and I really want to make a high quality album that we can all be proud of. So with that said: I need your help raising enough money to record my next album.
Our goal is to raise $10k in 30 days. This money will go towards studio time, producer software and fees, mastering, distribution, CD duplication, etc.
This Kickstarter is basically your way of PRE-ORDERING and being the first to hear the album. You'll also be the first to get behind the scenes updates of the creative process, plus teasers, pics, and lyrics. $10 gets you the digital download & $25 gets you a limited edition CD along with the digital download. Check out the free album t-shirt reward if you're able to give more.
Thank you to everyone for your continued support from day one. I'm super excited to share what I've been working on with you. If you're a producer or interested in doing any collaborations I'd love to hear from you. Help me spread the word and share with your friends. That's pretty much it. $10k. 30 days. Go!

Risks and challenges
I plan to finish this album by January 2015 at latest. The only challenge I can see would be not having enough time to finish by the set due date. I was able to complete my first 2 albums without missing any deadlines in the past so I don't think this will be the case.
Also, recording on the East Coast and West Coast may require some planning. Since I have been working this way for the last 3 years, I am very familiar with multi-tasking and properly managing my time on each coast.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
