Io9, Dissent Update, the Center for Jewish History, Inside Higher Ed, and more!

First off, we'd like thank all our old and new supporters here! With your help, we've reached 57% of our funding goal! But there's a lot more to talk about:

In ~Archive and Brooklyn Institute news:
1.) Dissent Magazine received word from Eugene Genovese and the gears are now officially in motion to reproduce the wonderful "Marxist Perspectives" journal.

2.) The ~Archive was featured in Io9 (the science and science fiction blog) this week in their column, "Crowdfund This", a guide to worthwhile Kickstarter projects.

3.) The ~Archive has become an official staff pick here at Kickstarter itself! We could not be more excited about this vote of confidence and all the support Kickstarter and others have given us.

4.) Later this week, we are meeting with The Center for Jewish History to talk about possible digitization and dissemination projects though the ~Archive. With their partners, they have a vast collection of historically and intellectually important documents, books, letters, etc. and we are extraordinarily excited to take a look and start the conversation!

5.) Finally, the Brooklyn Institute itself was recently featured in both Inside Higher Ed and in New APPS (Art, Politics, Philosophy, Science.)

Finally, thanks once again to all of you for supporting the ~Archive and the Brooklyn Institute: not only with your contributions, but with your suggestions of books to explore, your tweets, facebook posts and emails and all the other ways you've helped get the word out about the Brooklyn Institute ~Archive. Please continue to let others know and let's preserve some books, journals, manuscripts and more together.
