About this project
We love jerky, but we think it can be better. Jerky has the potential to be delicious, natural, and healthy in creative and exciting ways it has never been before.
How do we plan to do that? By giving jerky the conscious treatment and culinary attention it has always lacked but rightfully deserves.
We don’t have scientists in laboratories formulating our recipes with factory-farmed meats and artificial seasonings. We have Chefs, working in a state-of-the-art, USDA-approved facility with ingredients like sriracha, orange peel, and honey.
And our jerky is healthy—each 1.5 ounce bag of jerky is 100 calories or less with at least 16 grams of protein, all while being low in sugar, fat, and especially carbs.
How can we do that? Because our Chefs use herbs and spices for flavor instead of salt and chemicals.

THINK JERKY protein is exclusively pasture-raised, free-range, and grass-fed. Not only is this process more humane, but it also allows us to give you a more natural, nutritious protein, with no added hormones or antibiotics.
What’s more, these practices are more sustainable, eliminating much of the environmental damage caused by factory farms, as well as supporting local family farms across the country.
THINK JERKY is creating a network between our Chefs and you. All backers will get access to Chef videos, behind-the-scenes photos, and other content from inside our kitchens.

Over the past year and a half we have secured a state-of-the-art facility, obtained USDA approvals, and finalized our recipes. But when it comes to breaking into a market and competing with “the big guys,” we need your help!
It’s a matter of scale. In order to get jerky to you that not only meets our nutritional and taste standards, but is also competitively priced, we need to be able to make large-scale, cost-efficient purchases.
Funds will also go towards crafting more innovative flavors and building new relationships with Chefs from across the country!

Risks and challenges
Over the past year and a half we have secured a state-of-the-art facility, obtained USDA approvals, designed packaging, tested over 200 different ingredients, sourced family farms, traveled over 4,000 miles, and finalized our recipes.
We believe that since we have already completed so much of this project, that once we hit our funding goal and can make these necessary purchases, we will be able to start shipping rewards by the estimated delivery dates.
