About this project
The Boston Teen Acting is a theatre group based in the Boston area. The group was founded by Jack Serio and Catherine Spino in January of 2011. Their goal was to produce professional theatrical productions with shows completely comprised of Boston area teens.
God of Carnage is a play by Yasmina Reza. It is about two pairs of parents, one of whose child has hurt the other at a public park, who meet to discuss the matter in a civilized manner. However, as the evening goes on, the parents become increasingly childish, resulting in the evening devolving into chaos. The play was a success in its original language, French, and has been equally acclaimed in its other English-translated productions in both London and New York.
We need to raise $700 for our May production of God of Carnage for sets, costumes, performances rights, props, poster photography etc. We are planning on this being are biggest production and hopefully our best so far. We would love for you to be apart of it! Every dollar helps!
Where does the money go?
- $250 for Performance Rights
- $300 for Set and Set Dressings
- $200 for Costumes and Props
Those of you who have worked in theatre know that there are many other aspects of productions that need to be funded, this is only the bare minimum for the show to go up. We need your help to reach our goal and to go beyond!
Remember Kickstarter is an all-or-nothing fundraiser so if we don't reach our goal we can produce the show.
