Halfway done, but only a third of the way there!
Well, we are 15 days into this fundraiser and with the help of the 85 of you, we've raised nearly 1/3 of the money we need to expand our composting program, more than $4,600! Thank you! Now, even though we aren't fully on track, we're not too worried because Kickstarter tells us that the most money tends to roll in in the last few days of a project. But to be on the safe side we need all of you beautiful people who believe in us to tell their family and friends and lottery-winning rich great uncles about Farmer Pirates to make sure that we get there!
Some of you have reached out to us saying that for the t-shirt reward component, you'd rather have something with our skull and tools logo. While we do like the somewhat cheeky composting Buffalo waste design (potty humor and double entendres abound!), we also like responding to the will of the people, so we are going to offer a you choice between the two designs if you have chosen a reward that incudes a t-shirt.
In other news, look for us in the upcoming urban agriculture issue of Buffalo Spree magazine - featuring Farmer Pirates, MAP, and the other awesome folks growing food in the city!
Again, thank you all so much for your contributions! We hope you're keeping both yourself and your sprouts warm in this little snow storm (ours are tucked in under fabric) and remember to spread the word! Every new pledge helps us rebuild the great momentum we had in the first two weeks of the project and will net contributors our great rewards. (Now including skull and hoes shirts!)
