A baker's dozen set of original art postcards: send happiness through the mail by becoming a happiness backer!
Welcome to the Happiness Ambassador Postcard Project, Year: 2012.
Or H.A.P.P.Y. 2012.
I'm Kathy Ellen (entire first name!) and I'll be your happiness ambassador. I earn the title by being ridiculously enthusiastic, optimistic, and happy, and spreading that around.
I stil give out valentines on Valentine's Day.
I am constantly cheering people on, even for the most mundane challenges.
(I recently cheered on a friend for washing the dishes!)
and I LOVE sending letters in the mail.
This year I had a lot of fun creating art for the Sketchbook project.
32 pieces of art.
I looked back over them and thought, "WOW. These are all kind of fun. I wish I could send these out to all the people I know..."
A good idea was born.
But wait! WAIT! What if I could spread the happiness around?
What if other people could send this stuff around too?
That is where you come in, happiness backer!
I took 13 of my favorite pieces from my sketchbook, and I am going to make them into postcards. You can back a whole pack, a baker's dozen,
(I've always LOVED the baker's dozen model!)
and send some happiness out there in the world!
As a happiness backer, you'll be rewarded on various levels, and you'll be backing the cost of printing the postcards and then shipping to get them to you, as well as a little bit for my inner artist who created these images!
All the postcards are original works of art by moi.
Watercolor, string, cut paper, marker, crayons....lots of materials!
The first run is for 100 packs....
That's 1,300 people who will be happier.
I think we can do it!
Thanks for backing happiness!
