THE STORY:
One of the wonderful things about Magic is that once you believe in it...
...you can find it anywhere.
Earlier this year, I Kickstarted ALL THE COLORS OF MAGIC: A Coloring Book For All Ages, using art I created for the series, The Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica.

The book turned out beautifully, and everyone wished for more drawings to share and color...and wishes are Magic, too.
So I didn't just make ONE or TWO new coloring books...I made THREE of them – ALL THE COLORS OF MAGIC II, III, and IV: More Coloring Books For All Ages.

Featuring Peculiar Creatures...

Unusual Characters...

Lost Lands...

And as always, a few Dragons.

ALL THE COLORS OF MAGIC are coloring books for All Ages, which I have filled with some of my readers' favorite pictures selected from chapter illustrations for the novels, all presented in beautiful removable pages that can be framed as they are, or colored and mounted in a place of honor on your refrigerator.
Open these coloring books. Choose a drawing you like. Find something to color with. Make something beautiful. Then remember – to the young at heart, all the colors are Magic.
THE REWARD:
The reward backers will receive after the project has successfully funded is a set of copies of all three new volumes of ALL THE COLORS ARE MAGIC: Coloring Books For All Ages. They will each be 8 3/4" x 11" with full-color matte-finish covers. The 22 illustrations featured on the interior pages of each book will be printed on a heavy, uncoated stock that will be ideal to color with crayons, pencils, markers, or watercolors. The pages will be printed on one side only, and will be perforated along the spine for easy removal.

And now, NEW REWARDS:
By popular demand, we have now added new pledge levels to offer individual PDF editions of the coloring books, alone, or as extras bundled with the sets of printed books. Backers who choose one (or more) of those rewards will get a beautiful high-resolution PDF of the book, so that you can print, color, and share your favorite pictures.
Below are previews of the complete contents of ALL THREE COLORING BOOKS – so those of you opting for one of the PDF rewards can look over the books and choose the one that will make you happiest.

VOLUME IV

A special page will also be set up at www.jamesaowen.com where we will feature photos of colored pages sent to us by readers, and once a week, we will choose our favorite to hang on the fridge at the Coppervale Studio, and we'll post a photo to the website and on my Facebook pages.

You can help us make this project a reality – and we have reserved a spot at the front of each book where you can add your name, and then collaborate with me by coloring these illustrations to make something beautiful, and show everyone that there is still magic in this world.

Thank you for your attention, and your support. We couldn't do what we do without you.

Risks and challenges
Because all of the work is complete there are very few risks to be had in supporting this project. I've done this — published my own work — many times before. When this project funds, the files will be uploaded to the printer and prepping for fulfillment will begin.
There are always possible challenges, such as delays with printing and shipping, and other unexpected things could also happen which might hold up delivery, but this is my fourth Kickstarter; my team has developed a reputation for always keeping everyone apprised, and we always deliver exactly what I said we would. In fact, the previous coloring book shipped several weeks early to 90% of our backers, with only a handful of the foreign packages going out in the actual delivery month.
We did have a few issues with the binding adhesive, which we will have fixed for these books. We're also looking at ways to improve them overall, such as switching from a gloss cover to a matte one, which will show less fingerprints, and better perforations to more easily remove the pages.
We've decided to keep this project as simple as possible to minimize the risk, and to show all of our readers and supporters that we have continued to learn from our experiences. The project is both simple and elegant; we have a production facility we know and trust; better fulfillment processes are in place; and we've given ourselves a 90-day window post-funding for production and fulfillment.
We have added in the costs of domestic shipping this time. The cost isn't very much, but multiplied by several hundred packages it can affect the viability of a project. Still, it works out to a total cost of fifteen dollars per book (book + shipping) which is a bargain for the level of quality we deliver.
I promise I will keep everyone updated as to the progress of the project — particularly if there are any delays or obstacles — and they will be overcome to deliver what you have supported and what I have promised.
