Stretch #1 Reached: The Granny will be!
Thank you, thank you, thank you my dear Kickstarter supporters! We have surpassed the stretch goal! My father's design for The Granny will be made into a puppet. She will be a spidery woman with 6 arms knitting frantically a seemingly endless cloak! A lesson that I've run into again and again especially internationally traveling with my 4.5 month old son, we can't control everything! She will represent just this in the film as the Froud's take on the Fates. Below is another sketch from my father to show you more of the vision for The Granny.
Let's STRETCH a bit more! Please continue to like, share, and support. Can we reach $50,000? All additional funds will be used to upgrade the quality of the film, i.e. renting better cameras, lights, and hiring a professional composer. If we reach $50,000, I'll plan to give our hero puppet a set of legs to be seen on the screen.
I know you've been waiting to see the sculpt for the hard drive pledge level. Finally, it is revealed below. The photo shows the original sculpt in clay; the final gift will be cast in a dark tinted resin.
Finally, Lessons Learned will appear in the upcoming issue of FAE Magazine. If you aren't a subscriber to this UK-based magazine, FAE covers all things faery including art, films, events, fashion, folklore, and more. FAE has generously donated 5 subscriptions of the magazine to support the Lessons Learned Kickstarter. Please check out the new $75 pledge level for these subscriptions. Please visit http://www.faemagazine.com/ for more details.
Thanks for your continued support!
