I would just like to start by saying you do NOT have to wait! The game is 99% complete. (Final touches are being made) All I need is a head start to get my project the exposure it deserves, and trust me when I tell you this, it is WELL deserved.

WarRab: Veteran is a 2D, Fantasy/Steampunk RPG containing real-time strategy and platforming elements. You take on the role of Flappy, a young, assertive sailor who is fighting to save his kind from being hunted by the ruthless Howler Warriors. Through this very raw and original story, you travel the developing world of Andoran meeting new friends, foes and choice-driven fates. The music and artwork, completely composed and designed by Chadrick Evans, merges together to express the perfect blend of emotional empathy. Diving into new areas will fill you with a sense of curiosity as the soundtrack builds up and attracts your attention.
-Colorful, vibrant world full of appealing dialogue.
-Character "Keepsake" feature to hold skill boosting items.
-Up to four party members with a unique set of skills.
-Intense real-time strategy battles inspired by classic RPG titles.
-Beautifully composed soundtrack to evoke emotion within every scene.
How I will spend the money:
- $100, right off the bat will go directly into my Steam submission fee! I have many COMPLETE projects I would like to place on Steam but without a developers badge I am very limited.
- $34 will go towards renewing my website domain for another year. No matter how professional my projects may look it's very difficult to be taken seriously if you don't own an official domain.
- $66 (+ additional funds) will go into promotion and advertising. Remember, WarRab: Veteran is NOT the only game I want to place on Steam. If you help me reach my goal you will be seeing a lot more from me!
I try to differentiate my projects from many others of the same genre. While other developers may focus on team based work or the amount of money they could make from every release, I find it very important to keep a grounded, genuine state of mind to appeal to my audience. My humble request of only $200 is, essentially, a representation of how confident I feel in my projects. Whenever I begin development I always make sure to start with 100% effort and end the same way. If my goal is achieved, with the help of anyone who has pledged and gave me a headstart, I know that my projects will do more than fine. All I'm asking for, as far as exposure and word of mouth goes, is a chance to be noticed.
Risks and challenges
After the project is funded I plan to work as hard as I can to get it greenlit! I have been developing games of various genres for the last four years. I know that each project has a very special and unique appeal to it and when they are finally exposed to the world they will do more than fine!
I'm only 18 years old but I know that sometimes life can give you lemons. If this project happens to fail I promise to get back up and keep moving forward. My one true goal, finances aside, is to entertain and thrill gamers for many years to come.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
