What is ALLEYCATS?
Alleycats is an independent action/thriller feature film; exploring the underground world of illegal bike racing in London. These races take place throughout the world and are called Alleycats.

My name is Ian Bonhote and I am the Director. I was introduced to real life Alleycats by a courier friend of mine and instantly became completely hooked on this underground world of bike racing. I even took part in some of the races. I have been developing the film for five years now and I want to bring the unique shooting style I have developed from making many commercials and short films to the forefront of this film.
Alleycats will be an action-packed, stylish film with a pumping soundtrack that will show a side to London that you have never seen before.
Who is your cast?
We have a fantastic cast already attached! Rose Wicksteed is our brilliant casting director and we are now finalising the details of the feature cast.

Who are you?
Ian Bonhote. My career has earned me credits spanning commercials, music video and short films, as well as co-founding the Production Company Pulse Films (pulsefilms.com) with fellow producers Thomas Benski and Marisa Clifford.
As a Director, I have created campaigns for Gatorade, Nike, Puma, Pepsi, as well as music videos for Mumford & Sons, Morcheeba, Jamie Cullum, Tom Jones, amongst many others. I have extensive experience working with entertainment and sports celebrities, including Tiger Woods, Blank Vlasic and Thierry Henry.
Andy Ryder is our Producer, he has extensive experience within the TV and film industry working on major Hollywood blockbusters (Including Batman - The Dark Knight), feature documentaries, large budget drama/docs, music videos and commercials.
Andy has also produced five high quality short films which have all gained entry to major festivals worldwide.

OK... Where does Kickstarter come in?
Action scenes are expensive! Especially sequences which require us to perform dangerous stunts and close London streets. For Alleycats to work, it will depend on the action sequences within the film being effective. Every penny from backers of the campaign will go directly towards making these action scenes, so that we can ensure Alleycats is an amazing, fast-paced, action film that does justice to the culture.

Kickstarter is an all or nothing model! If we don’t reach our target no-one gets charged. That’s why we need you… and your family and friends! So please, even if you can’t donate, help us by spreading the word on Twitter, Facebook or word of mouth.

Risks and challenges
As with anything in life, there is a risk and making films is no different.
We aim to start shooting in March and have the film completed by September, and although we feel it is a realistic date, quite often schedules change due to weather, crew/cast not being available for certain dates.
