I'm sorry you didn't hit your goal. I was thinking this would allow me to ride my old motorcycle after dark without installing blinkers. (another market)
Hi Ed. Thanks for the comment, I've just posted a backer update detailing how to contact me if you are interested in either building or ordering your own prototype. I have a few leads towards private investment, so keep your eyes on the shelves, and hopefully you'll see a finished YouTurn sooner than later. Thanks again
Really disappointed you didn't hit the goal. If I had the spare money, I would have happily pledged more than I did. I hope this comes to market, because I'll buy one as soon as it does!
It's a shame you guys didn't reach your goal. If you don't try again with this awesome idea, would you consider at least publishing information or selling a kit, etc, for DIYers like myself to be able to build our own? I know you used a LilyPad board, but beyond that the hardware and programming are unknown to me.
This is a great idea, and I hope you get your pledged goal.
I'm a cyclist and have been thinking for a very long time how turn signals could be implemented. Thanks for figuring it out. I sure hope you get enough backers because I really want some of these gloves.
This product is a super idea!
It might be a good idea to market this product to the Motorcycle riding crowd as well, I drive a Ducati and this product would absolutely make us more visible to the cars behind us.
Perhaps a full fingered leather riding glove version? (See Held Motorcycle gloves).
I would buy it, wear it, and brag about it with other Motorcyclists. Brilliant!
Great to see a smart safety device for Cyclists and others. Visibility on the road is imperative. Thanks Jack.
Thanks! Backers will get exclusive access to the development of the finished product, so stay tuned after funding is successful. Thanks for your support!
Great idea! Can't wait to see how it develops.
Congrats on the Engadget mention!
Good Luck, I think this a fantastic idea.
My son-in-law insists on riding his bike to work, on the road, with the cars. Where we live that is truly not safe, with soccer moms in giant SUV's talking on the phone racing to little Fauntleroy's game on hilly roads with no shoulder. If I can promote bike safety innovation, I'm in!
What a great product idea! I just blogged about it: http://www.everyoneinportland.com/
