Black Oak Workshop is proud to present Light Speed d6s! Plot your astro-navigation and throw the switch because these dice are ready to roll! Our latest project feature a cockpit design and jump to light speed on the 6 result. You can now roll at the speed of light!
The Light Speed dice feature:
* A thematic science fiction design that will add a great flavor to your RPG or tabletop game
* Etched design (Black Oak does not produce screen printed dice)
* Larger 19mm size that stand out on the table and are easy to read
* Light speed capability!
These dice are meant to drop into any sci-fi themed game (or otherwise) that calls for d6. Use them in boardgames, tabletop miniature games or RPGs!
By popular demand, we have added some stretch goals below. We're working on images of samples, but these are straightforward enough to relay as a graphic.If we hit either of these, backers will be able to choose the color they would like to receive as part of the survey process. We hope everyone likes them!
We've got plenty of add-ons to offer up! You can contact us through messaging on Kickstart or our website to purchase add-ons or simply adjust your pledge level to reflect your add-ons and we will determine exactly what you'd like to receive via survey after the Kickstart completes.
Please see our previous projects or our Etsy store for a full listing of all available products (including dice bags) and additional photos. Below is a sampling of our dice related add-ons.
As soon as the Kickstart project is complete, the fulfillment process will begin. Kickstarter requires 10-14 working days to finalize the project once the funding period is over. Once they are done, we will be ready to go!
All shipments will be processed through the United States Postal Service. Domestic (USA) orders will ship utilizing First-Class Service and international orders will ship utilizing First-Class Package International Service. All rewards will be packed securely in an effort to minimize risk of damage during shipping. Tracking is available for every order shipped. We do not provide the tracking numbers to all backers due to the time constraint, but all are available and able to be provided should any issues arise in shipping.
Our shipping rates are presented as a flat cost that is extremely close to if not the actual cost charged by the USPS - there is no attempt to inflate shipping fees.
For our International backers, we wanted to add a note that the shipping costs are reflective of what the USPS charges us. We do not have overseas distribution and likely will not for some time as we are a small shop. As we grow, we hope to be able to get those costs down for you as we know they are painful.
Risks and challenges
Our goal is to present a series of new and exciting Kickstart projects to potential backers in the future. To do that, we recognize that establishing a reputation of providing a quality product while reliably fulfilling orders is crucial to building trust with our backers. We operate under this mindset on every project we run.
If funded, our priority will be to meet or exceed backer expectations. We structure our Kickstart projects with a goal of minimizing risks and challenges in an effort to help build confidence in our backers:
* Straightforward design
* Visual representation of the final product
* Partner with an established production vendor
* Research and capture all costs
* Provide regular project status updates
* Communicate any issues as they arise
Given the successful fulfillment and positive backer feedback from our earlier projects, we are confident that we can and will meet our stated goals.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
