Black Oak Workshop is back with another project, but we're mixing it up this time! We've gotten a lot of positive feedback for the custom dice bags from our previous projects, so we're presenting some special designs to you! These are large sized bags and constructed with the same great craftsmanship as all our other bags. And...
What's better than a cool, well made dice bag? A cool, well made dice bag with dice in it! Every backer on the project will receive a standard set of 7 matching RPG dice per bag that is part of their reward level! Read on!
The Designs
There are 3 different designs for the project and one of them has 3 color options - so 5 bags total. When you back to receive multiple bags, you can choose any mix of the designs you'd like to receive (they don't all have to be the same design). All of the bags are the same size and made of the same high quality materials (see below for details).
The Dragon's Hoard - Dragons like more than gold! The mobile dice hoard ensures you can haul your favorite dice loot wherever you go.
The Kraken - Dice from the cold depths of the sea! You can pick the color you like best for this one.
The Green Man - Any druid or ranger or elf or general fan of the forest will be happy with this one. It shows off some serious detail in the embroidery.
Dimensions & Materials
These are large size bags measuring 5" x 8" and capable of holding several RPG sets (8 sets easy). Like our other bags, these feature a suede exterior and a satin interior and come with drawstrings that stay tight when drawn! Our bags are soft and durable.
The embroidery is detailed and not overly stiff. The satin liner hides the stitching on the inside too.
Black Oak Dice Bags
We have produced several other dice bags previous to these and feedback has been very positive! These are made the exact same way and with the same materials, so anyone who already has some of our dice bags will know what to expect. Here are a few of them:
Project Bonus: FREE DICE!
This is our 8th project and our 2 year anniversary. We still have a long way to go before we have things figured out, but we're still around solely because of our backers! So we'll be including a standard 7 dice RPG set that will ship with each backers order.
UPDATE: Due to unlocked stretch goals, backers will now receive one set of RPG dice per bag associated with their reward level. So back at level 1 and receive 1 set of RPG dice - back at level 4 and receive 4 sets!
These are standard sized (not the larger Black Oak Workshop size) and solid colored. There are more colors than the picture below, but it shows a sampling of the dice. Note that additional options (swirl, transparent, etc) may be unlocked through stretch goals.
We'll be grabbing these randomly at the time of shipment, so it's a potluck on color (purple, blue, black, green, red, yellow, etc). This is a bonus to the KS and additional sets are not available for purchase. We got these as giveaways only!
STRETCH GOALS!
We have expanded our stretch goals thanks to our backers! As it stands, after shattering the $2250 stretch goal. backers will now receive a bonus set of RPG dice with EVERY bag from the project that is part of their reward selection. So if you back for 3 bags - you'll get 3 bonus RPG sets. Likewise, back at the 5 bag level and you'll receive 5 bonus RPG sets. It's a great idea and an even GREATER DEAL!
In an attempt to give backers more options, we're expanding the stretch goals to give us a chance to unlock transparent and swirl variations on the giveaway RPG sets! We worked with the vendor and ironed out minimum order quantities and available options and we've mapped out some achievable goals! Please keep in mind that there are more colors than shown for the swirls variations - these are the pictures we have at the moment, but will work to get more. You can expect a standard range of colors.
Swirl #1 has an iridescent/shimmer appearance. Each type we unlock will open up selection options for backers. For each bag you have backed in your reward selection, you can choose an RPG set from the available styles. So back at 3 bags and you will receive 3 RPG sets and you'll get to choose which style you want to receive for each one! The choices will be part of the survey process. Please note we are selecting the colors at random during fulfillment!
Please keep in mind that additional RPG sets will not be for sale from Black Oak as part of this project or going forward - these are bonus sets for our backers on this project.
