Imperial Crusade Freedom
Imperial Crusade Freedom is a tactical space combat game that uses plastic cards made of the same material as credit cards to represent each ship on the tabletop. These cards have ship stats printed on them so that everything that happens during a battle can be tracked directly on the card with a dry erase pen. These cards are moved around the table like a miniature and everything is recorded directly on them. Battles between a few ships can be played in a couple of minutes or massive fleet battles can be played in about an hour.
This is an expansion to Imperial Crusade Armada that adds two more factions to the Imperial Crusade universe. It is also a stand alone game that does not require Imperial Crusade Armada to play. The Freetrade Coalition uses drone fighters and mines to destroy their enemies. The Outland Alliance uses powerful gunships to assault enemy ships and their force manipulators to disrupt their opponent's plans.

"The Chief" of the Dice Tower reviews Imperial Crusade Armada in the following video:
Tom Vassel of the Dice Tower explain how to play Imperial Crusade Armada in the following video:
The Outland Alliance is composed of hundreds of colony ships that each measure over ten kilometers long. These mobile worlds keep moving so the Imperium has found it difficult to find and eradicate them. The Outland Alliance uses advanced gunboats, which are large fightercraft equipped with powerful shields. They also use this exotic matter as a weapon that can open up micro singularities designed to tear a target ship in apart.
The Free Trade Coalition has only a few hidden worlds but most of its population is aboard twelve home fleets composed of a few thousand world ships. These ships only house a few hundred people but this system allows their fleets to scatter if they are ever attacked. These fleets of ships are guarded by hundreds of capital ships and their complement of drone fighters which are remote assault platforms designed to self destruct causing massive damage to enemy ships at close range.
Players create their own fleets by selecting ships available to their faction while remaining within the Fleet Cost of the upcoming battle and then adding fleet tactics to support these ships. Fleet tactics give ships new abilities and allow them to perform special actions. Fleet tactics allow a player to run her fleet in unusual ways so two players running the same faction can have a battle but have totally different strategies for winning.
Glossy and Durable Plastic Ship Cards
Ship cards have different ships printed on either side to increase your fleet building options. These cards have a durable gloss coat that allows them to washed if they ever get dirty. They are very scratch resistant but don't let your dog play with them.
