Imperial Crusade Armada: Space Combat Tactical Card Game
Imperial Crusade Armada is a tactical card game that uses plastic cards to represent your ships on the tabletop.
Imperial Crusade Armada is a tactical space combat card game that uses plastic cards made of the same material as credit cards to represent each ship on the tabletop. These cards have ship stats printed on them so that everything that happens during a battle can be tracked directly on the card with a dry erase pen. Battles between a few ships can be played in a couple of minutes or massive fleet battles can be played in about an hour.
Ship cards represent each ship in a player’s fleet which are moved around the table during combat. The distances between each card on the table is used to determine the range when these ships fire their weapons. A ship card’s position and facing determine what targets it can fire on and which shields defend it from attack. Damage, energy allocation, and system usage are recorded directly on each ship card with a dry erase pen. Players create their own fleets by selecting ships available to their faction while remaining within the Fleet Cost of the upcoming battle and then adding fleet tactics to support these ships. Fleet tactics give ships new abilities and allow them to perform special actions. Ship cards have different ships printed on either side to increase your fleet building options.
The greatest difficulty in bringing out this game is the cost of the plastic cards. In order to break even on each game, I need to print alot of them at once which is why I'm doing this Kickstarter. If you want to see this game come to print, please support me by funding this project and help make my dream come true.
If you are interested in supporting this game but want to know more, please download the rule book from my website at jengames.com.

This is an example of a ship card that has been activated and damaged next to an unmarked card. These marks are made with a dry erase pen that can be erased with a cotton swab. The boxes with a dot have been activated or damaged but they are restored at the end of each turn. The boxes marked with a slash are the result of Structure damage so they are not restored during the battle.
