1.2m is quite short for a "macbook" charger as you would have to sit very close to the wall to make it useful. if there is no charging port close to you, sitting at a table, it would be troublesome since you have to sacrifice the comfortably of sitting closer to get work done, especially at a coffee shops, which MagX seems to be targeted towards.

I think the current length of the original MacBook charger, is best. no need to be 2m as long as you can charge and transfer data with it. I still however believer, that the charge will block the ports when charging, but you said new pictures are coming out soon, have yet to see them

I would prefer to wait for a longer 2m cable.

Make two separate ones. Release this one and make a separate pledge for the longer one later.

@ALL Thanks so much for your feedback and our R&D team are working with the factory to see if we can have a new option soon.

I like the short cable better.

I don’t know if it has to be six feet but I do know the current three feet is way too short. I’d be willing to wait a little longer for a longer cable.

I’d prefer the 1.2 meters (4ft). Maybe have a separate pledge for a longer 2 meter data-only cable.

Longer is worth the wait - 2m at least please :)

If you make a cable 180 - 200 cm long, like Apple’s cable, will it then be possible to wrap it around the charger? It may be more troublesome to carry the long cable around.

The longer the better. Please makenit longer. With only 1.2m you always have tonplace the charger somewhere nearby which always cause some problems with the handlung and cablemanagement.

Actually, I would also prefer 6 ft.

Yes please make it 1.2 meters

      +1 to longer cable

Yes, my only hesitation when first seeing this was the length, so this would be a valuable improvement. If enough disagree, maybe we can have a separate reward (or survey choice) - just a thought.

I wouldn't mind waiting a bit longer for longer cable. Make it 6 ft (180cm - 200cm)if you could as it would help a lot.

I to would wait longer and think waiting is worth it. I think 2 meters should be a minimum

    23. Sully Cortez on

I would say 4-6ft would be a better length for sure and I personally wouldn’t mind waiting longer. I would also recommend using a white light LED instead of green as green can be hard to see at a distance. White is always easier to see. That said, 1.3 meters is a little short unless you’re sitting RIGHT next to the wall plug. At least with 4-6ft we’ve got a LITTLE bit of distance.
