      Any word about a release?

    2. Eric on November 11

And over 16 months later I look again, no news at all???
      Please refund my pledge.

    3. Simon Hunt on September 26, 2016

I'm only into this for $5, so I can be pretty relaxed about the lack of progress, but some poor schmuck threw $2500 at this project. Come on Protobird/Scott, please can we have an update, even if there's no news?

    4. Simon Hunt on September 26, 2016

aaaaand I celebrated waaaaaaaay too soon. Maybe I even jinxed it?

14 months and 12 days after the promise of "a bunch of updates" there's been no more news.

For the record: most recent Protobird login at time of posting 9 May 2016.

Has anyone heard anything from Protobird games? Scott Hayman is not answering the emails I have sent!

      Time for a refund.

So, just out of curiosity (honestly, no pressure, I've backed way too many projects to get upset over a delay), are you going to give an update sometime before a year passes?

    7. Simon Hunt on July 14, 2015

      Aaaaaand we're back!

      *happy dance*

    8. Simon Hunt on May 12, 2015

      Dear Scott

I see from your profile that you logged into Kickstarter less than two weeks ago. Could I respectfully ask that you post a short update giving the status of this project?

I can understand that small teams are vulnerable to the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune. However, at the very least I think that I (and my fellow backers) deserve to know if the project is still viable. If the project is no-longer viable and the money is gone, I would rather know, so that I can move on. If it is stalled for what ever reason; legal, technical, financial or emotional, it would be good to know that too.

Apologies for hassling you if this finds you at a difficult time.

      Many Thanks

      Simon*

Where is the update on this project? It's been a year, and there's been nothing but silence.

    10. Simon Hunt on May 4, 2015

Happy Star Wars Day! Any progress? Is this dead?

    11. Eric on April 20, 2015

Meanwhile, we are about a year later on this project, an no update at all.
I'm not feeling comfortable about this. Please provide an update!

    12. Lily Romano on April 11, 2015

Hopefully everything is going well! We would love to hear any updates you might have.

    13. Emily Schlick on February 7, 2015

How is game production going? I'd love to hear some updates about the process!

      Hi,
do you have any updates on when the game will be ready or when the toys will be sent out?

    15. Tori Davis on May 1, 2014

Great job! We are so excited to see the full game!

    16. Aerjen Tamminga on April 30, 2014

Congrats for getting to your goal!

    17. Mike D on April 30, 2014

      Congrats guys!

    18. Mykalson on April 30, 2014

Have you given any thought to adding more digital tiers? I'd be willing to pledge more, but I've already got all the physical goodies, since I back the comic's kickstarter campagins.

    19. Mike D on April 26, 2014

Getting there. Looking for a good final 48 hour push!

Stephen, we are developing The Dreamland Chronicles Card Game for iPad, though we would love the opportunity to also bring it to Android tablets if we hit that stretch goal! :)

Ok this may just be me being blind, but what devices will you be releasing on if you don't make the 40k stretch goal. I've got a kindle fire and I'm a tad worried I won't be able to play the game.

    23. Protobird Games Creator on April 9, 2014

Oh, Scott, even if I would consider such a request, where would I get such a jersey on such short notice?

    24. Scott Eaton on April 9, 2014

I will donate more if Scott H. puts on a Laker Jersey at PAX

    25. Scott Eaton on April 9, 2014

This LOOKS AWESOME. . .can't wait to play with my kids. .

    26. Aerjen Tamminga on April 7, 2014

Can't wait to get my hands on the game. I'm really looking forward to play around with all the gameplay mechanics and enjoy the eye candy. Good luck with the campaign!

    27. Protobird Games Creator on April 7, 2014

Thanks for your questions, Ngurah! These are great ones that we're in the process of finalizing. The current plan is to provide a free version in the App Store for iOS and Play Store for Android (so let's hit that $40k stretch goal!). In-app purchases for Booster packs, specific cards and other offers will be available. We will include a specific code for each backer that unlocks their perks within the app.

How will you distribute the tablet versions? Will you have, say, a link to a downloadable .apk or will it be available in the Play Store? Will it be free-to-play with in-app-purchases or will we need to buy the app again? And finally, how will we receive our Kickstarter perks in the app?

    29. Protobird Games Creator on April 4, 2014

Thanks, Emily! We are planning on making a web or PC version, but not until we've launched tablet versions for iOS and Android. We'll be developing using the Unity engine, which provides platform versatility. But the user interface will initially be developed for tablet.

    30. Emily Schlick on April 4, 2014

This looks like a great project, and I'm proud to back it! I do have a question, though- will the game be available only as a phone/tablet app, or will there be a website version for PCs?

    31. RatDog Games on April 3, 2014

      Looking great, good luck guys!

    32. Protobird Games Creator on April 3, 2014

Thanks for your question, Mykalson. The exact stats on the Kickstarer Exclusive cards is being worked out. But they will have exclusive art and animation, (all cards are animated!) and some type of special ability. The card level will depend on which type you get with your reward package- Epic or Legendary. The progression order is Base -> Epic -> Legendary.

    33. Mykalson on April 3, 2014

What exactly are the 'Kickstarter Exclusive' cards, completely different stats or just different art? Are the higher tiers (with extra exclusives) coming with exclusive-art versions of other heroes, or just more copies of Alexander to trade?

    34. Mykalson on April 2, 2014

Lol, that Felicity Pouncing book cover sketch on the Daniel pledge image is mine.
