It Felt Like We Were Just Getting Started...

Kickstarters, Friends,

Unbelievable.  It took only 8 days to reach our goal of $20,000.  That number seemed impossible huge when staring up at it from $0 at launch day.  One week later and we've blasted through our ceiling and are headed higher.  A deep bow, and a truly heartfelt thanks to all of you who have helped us get this far.

There are still nearly three weeks left for us to accept donations and for new donors to climb on board the reward train.  After December 7th, we close our kickstarter doors, start sending out rewards, and are that much closer to leading the EOS out into the internet wilds.

A special thanks, once again, to the media outlets who shared a piece of their valuable real estate with us to plug our project.  We couldn't have done this without you.

Thank you all, one more bow, a glass of champagne in toast, and now it's back to work on the EOS with an extra large smile on our faces.

-Matt and Justin

Cori just suggested we contribute. We'll give Farley the t shirt. Steve Keane's encyclopedia you graciously already signed. Jeff never told me of this KIckstarter campaign - love this, privilege pleasure to keep you off the streets. Bart

Matt, so stoked you hit the initial $20K and are going up from there. I was glad to contribute and really think you and the team are taking on something great. Surfing owes you BIG TIME. Best of luck in the NW as well, I know it's a sacrifice to walk away from the daily surf grind for your family, but something great's gonna come out of it. I'm sure you'll get "wave of the day" privileges wherever you travel from here on out... Thanks!

Hi Kurt. Everybody knew what a ripper Theo was. They still do. And he still is. But Todd! Voorhess Kind of the forgotten South Bay legend of that time. He was so good; so solid on his feet. Better than all of us (except Benivedez and Barela), but too mellow to go ou there and show the world.

Thanks for the support. Will keep you updated as this thing progresses.

Matt, it is an honor to contribute to your project. I grew on 5th Street in MB watching you surf. No one could ride the tube like you in the south bay except for Mark Theodore and Todd Voorhees. You were the giant Three that I enjoyed watching surf. I will not hold it against you that you are regular foot though! Stay focused my friend!
