Hi there - great that the goal has been reached, yay! I see the money has come out of my credit card, when do you get in touch about delivery address etc? I know it's not due for a few months but just wanted to check I hadn't missed anything :)
Hackpack Design Créateur le December 20
Hi @SD No hard feelings! The shipping costs include taxes and duties to your country as well. Most Kickstarter campaigns don't even consider this so backers are left to declare their own purchases. We will offer black in the future! :)

Hey guys, after thinking about it I've decided to drop my pledge...mainly because of the color and the extremely high international shipping cost...60usd to my country is more than half the cost of the bag. Sad...cos i really like the bag. All the best and congratulations on reaching your funding goal.
Hackpack Design Créateur le December 15
@sd Hi SD thanks for your comment! We chose to go with grey (it's actually a black and white woven threads when you look closely) so it could really stand out from all the boring work bags out there in the world! I've carried it for an entire year and mine isn't dirty and still looks good. One day we will have black though! :)
Check out this close-up to see what I mean about the fabric. There is a swatch in this image. https://ksr-ugc.imgix.net/assets/014/521/550/7db3652d9fe37e2ac46f8612ca571250_original.jpg…

If only this was available in black without having to reach a stretch goal...it would fit in better in a professional environment :(

@SD Thank for your question! You can check out the types of load testing we did on Hackpack to ensure that it could stand up to some heavy beatings. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1390193546/1647577888…

Thanks. One more question. What's the maximum load the bag can handle? In kilograms...if possible.
Hackpack Design Créateur le December 11
@SD Thanks for the question! I made this video demonstration of how Hackpack holds up when exposed to water after I sprayed it with Scotchgard.

I would say, if you think you'll get caught in some rain I would wear it underneath your rain jacket or poncho. Scotchgard will definitely help too!

Hi, is the bag water resistant? Can it handle rain?
Hackpack Design Créateur le December 10
@Sparkxster +: Love the idea!! Very clever. Sadly, I won't be able to make any more changes to this version of Hackpack without causing delays but this sounds like the start of Hackpack 2.0

I have a suggestion for hackpack. Is it possible to add a usb pass through or a usb port on the outside of hackpack so we could access our powerbanks without having to open hackpack?

wooohooo! Congrats Kim! best of luck with this new venture!

This looks really good and I hope that you make it to the first stretch goal because I would really prefer this in black - not really too keen on light colours :)

i just pledged. Good luck, Kim! Doesn't look like you need it though!

Hey Phil thanks for your comment. Appreciate the well wishes!
- The hidden jump rings don't affect any comfort level for the backpack. The straps are adjustable so you can make it as tight or lose and you prefer.
- The fabric is a durable nylon, you can see a close up of on the campaign tab in this image

- I will include more close ups of the hardware per your suggestion!

Hello Hackpack. Congrats and good luck on pursuing your KS dreams! I'm trying to decide if I like the simple look look and features of Hackpack enough to back it. It would be great to have more details about the fabrics and metal clips that will be used in the final product. I was comparing you to another KS bag, the Nomark Offsyte (which looks a little more refined, but they had an unsuccessful first campaign to learn from). I like that Hackpack has little tuckaway tabs to hold the jump rings when not in use. Hopefully those tabs don't make the shoulder straps less comfortable to use in the backpack mode?
Hackpack Design Créateur le November 17, 2016
Howdy Sparkxster +! Currently, this is the only color we offer but if our KS is successful we are hoping to expand and add more options! Definitely a goal for the future.
