The Second Edition Is On Its Way!
The Second Edition to "The Past in Focus" is complete!
It took several months longer than planned but I think you will be pleased with the images. While a few of them may be familiar to you history buffs, I really strove to find the rarest photos I could. Many of the images are from glass-plate negatives from the Library of Congress, others are from old prints from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the National Libraries of Norway, Finland, Sweden, Australia, and other countries.
The complete set will be sent out tomorrow via an email link to all the backers who pre-ordered it through CrowdOx. If you do not see the link in your email, please check your spam mail folder before contacting me.
If you are interested in purchasing the second edition but did not pre-order it, it will be available on Kickstarter in November as both a digital collection and as individual prints.
As for The Grand Tour, that is about 40% complete. Finding the images was easy, narrowing them down was more difficult, and then cleaning them up is proving to be the most difficult. But I think ( or hope ) you will be pleased with the final selection.
Some of you have asked whether these two sets will be made into photo books. At the moment, I have no plan to do so but if it seems like something worth doing then I will be sure to let all of you know first through another update.
Lastly, did anyone not receive their book/prints/digital link? About 35 people have still not answered the survey, so if you did not even receive that link, please, please let me know!
