It's time for an update! What's the progress on The Past? Quite good, actually. About 60 photos from the image collection have been selected and probably 40% of the bonus sets are completed ( selected and cleaned ) as of today. However, the project is steaming ahead so fast that it's difficult to keep adding bonus sets ( as much as I would like to add more, I don't want the restoration work of those to delay the project ). But there may be room for a few more in the next couple of days....so keep your eyes peeled!

A SNEAK PEAK

For those who would like to have a peek at some of the photos that will definitely be in The Past in Focus Image Collection or its bonus sets, just look below. After the campaign ends and all the restoration work is completed, you'll have a chance to see all of the photos and make your pick from the images ( if you selected the print option ).

I held off posting an update earlier because I was hoping to add a link to a poll so that all of you could view photographs and help vote for which ones to add to the collection. I've left room in the collection so that 15-20 images could be backer's choice ( you help vote for which ones should be added ) but it looks like it will be a few days before I figure out the best method of posting the images and collecting these votes from you. Thank you for your patience!

Once again, if you have any questions about the project, I'm here to answer them.

I’m very much looking forward to this project. I teach US history and can’t wait to include some of these in my lectures and slide shows. Well-done!
