Adams Avenue Unplugged is a two-day FREE musical festival that features over 150 performances in bars, restaurants, cafes, churches, and outdoor stages along Adams Avenue. The event has a 40-year history, dating back to The San Diego Folk Festival and Adams Avenue Roots Festival.
It is very important to the Adams Avenue Business Association- the event organizers- that all artists are paid fairly for their performances.
We need your help to continue to offer our community this dynamic musical experience. Please help us ensure that Adams Avenue Unplugged continues to bring so many amazing artists to our community, and allows attendees to enjoy the experience for free.
With our Kickstarter funds will be able to pay a wide variety of musicians for playing the festival, while still offering free entry into Unplugged.
Stretch goal funds will be used to pay for production costs like sound, staging, and trolley transportation!
This year Unplugged features national touring acts- Chris Hillman & Herb Pedersen, Peter Case, Willie Watson, Jonny Fritz, Tom Brosseau, The Sumner Brothers, The Good Luck Thrift Store Outfit, and The Shaggy Manes.

Risks and challenges
If our project is not fully funded through Kickstarter we may have to consider charging for attendance in the future, or canceling the event past 2014.
Having delivered quality entertainment for free for the past 30 years, we feel confident that, with funding, we will be able to offer an amazing experience to all who attend Unplugged.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
