About

$475

61

We want to share our love of reading with our community.

It is important to us that we create ownership within our community. So we  can have as many donors as possible, we ask for $5, $3, or $1 donations.

Little Free Library structure ($349.95) + Shipping & Handling ($87.49) = $437.44

We live on the east side of Fishers. The public library is 5 miles away from our neighborhoods. It would be great to have a place to exchange books closer to home between public library visits.

We hope our Little Free Library will encourage non-readers to pick up a book and enjoy it.

A Little Free Library would make our park more fun.

Risks and challenges

The Little Free Library might run out of books.
Our solution: Brooks School Elementary has a team of stakeholders who are committed to checking in on the Little Free Library. We also plan to keep an overflow box in the Brooks School Elementary Library.

We are working on a partnership with the Fishers Parks & Recreation Department.
