Watch Duetschbag play the latest updates to Super Realistic Autocross!
Check out Cody's Twitch! He is a great streamer and we really had fun with him play testing Super Realistic Autocross.
Super Realistic Autocross is an arcade-style racing simulator that brings the fun of Solo Autocross to your computer. Play dozens of tracks that hone your driving skills and teach the basics of Autocross. Experience the most super realistic cone physics ever created when you go on a cone killing rampage. And, more importantly, prove yourself and beat the most gifted racers out there.
With the help of professional drivers, Super Realistic Autocross is becoming one of the fastest growing Autocross games in the nation. With over 50 tracks planned by release, and over double that in free planned patches, you will never be bored. Race at tracks made by pros, and even tracks that are raced in real-life autocross. Master the various cars in the game and those added over time while the game constantly grows.
If our initial goal is met we have some stretch goals planned. We would love to add in new environments, leader boards, and upgrade the graphics to add a little more polish by hiring some artists. If we are way over-funded we will double the soundtrack and add in a level editor for players to generate new courses to try. This would also allow Autocrossers to test their tracks in the game before their real race days to get in a little extra practice.
We are very excited to provide some unique rewards for backing Super Realistic Autocross and would like to take the time to explain some of the neat aspects you can be a part of. First, here is a chart breaking down the backing options and their respective rewards to help you better choose how you want to help Doonamai:
The first few rewards are the classics: game downloads, wallpaper, and soundtrack options. Keep in mind, the game download is a Steam key for now, but when we release on the Swtich you would also receive a key for digital download there.
Once you get to the $50 and up, you get your name in the credits and get invited to the discord where you can chat with me and ask questions about the game and direction.
What we think are the most valuable rewards come from the $100 and $200 backing options. When you pledge $100 you get a Super Realistic Autocross t-shirt, but more importantly you get to design a track to be used in the game. The Autocross Club I am a part of, Sierra Sports Car Club, hosts meetings where drivers get to design the track for the next race. They do this by drawing the track on paper and submitting designs. The $100 pledge gets you the same opportunity. Here is what a typical track drawing looks like:
I will help with any track designs to make sure they will work in-game, and if designers need help I can show classic obstacles and interesting ways to positions them to make the drive more challenging. Then once the drawing is complete I will take it and create a map with the environment of your choosing and add it to the game for everyone to race at. Your name will be in the credits as a track designer and shown on the track.
The $200 pledge is where things get really crazy. When you pledge $200, you still get to design a track and receive all previous rewards, but now you get to add a car of your choice to the game! You send me the make, model, and year of the car you want and any pictures that go with it. I will then make a low poly version and add it to the game. It will use the drivetrain specific to the car, enabling different driving styles. The process would looks something like this:
Depending on complexity, I could also add some custom graphics to your car, license plate, etc. In the end, your name and car will be immortalized in the game. All players will get to enjoy your ride at the track.
We also have larger backing options for those who would like to become sponsors of the game or studio. The $500 pledge lets you become a sponsor which includes many perks and opportunities to get your brand and company exposure through the game.Your website, name, and logo would be used in various materials such as posters, stickers, on our website, and in the game for track select, car select, and even stamped on the track. This would would be a great opportunity for parts retailers and manufacturers to get noticed be new people that may want to try real autocross after playing the game.
For crazy individuals, we have a $1000 backing option for those who want to help boost the studio. You would get all of the perks of a sponsor, but with the added benefit of seeing content early, becoming immortalized on our website, getting first Beta keys to all of our games, and getting free keys to all future Doonamai games and they are made. You also get 4 copies of the game, 4 shirts, and the ability to add 2 cars to the game with company name and logos.
With your help, we can make Super Realistic Autocross a huge success. Funding us will ensure a great release and large updates to the game that improve the experience for everyone. If we are able to reach some of our stretch goals, the game could even see drastic changes and graphical improvements.

Super Realistic Autocross in a work in progress and could significantly change by release. All rewards with backer input are subject to reason and appropriateness. This means tracks that are impossible or unreasonable will need to be adjusted, and nothing inappropriate may be added to the game via track or car design, or in the form of names and logos.
Risks and challenges
Our main risk is not being funded. The game is already working and has a few dozen tracks, but we are lacking some of the touches that will really make the game. Adding a great soundtrack will really drive the experience for those you want to really dig in and have some Autocross fun. It is so easy to get absorbed in the game and music would really help with the immersion. Without funding, we will likely have free music, go without it.
We also need approval to develop for the Nintendo Switch. We feel releasing on Steam first will help us get noticed and approved to develop for Switch. Then we would require the funding to get the development kit and update the game for Switch. It should be an easy transition, but we first need to become Nintendo Developers.
With your help and support, these challenges can all be overcome and we can produce an amazing experience for players on both PC and Switch.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
