April Showers... 'N' Stuff

Hello chums! Jon and Ryan here once more, to sling words in your general direction. Try to catch them, otherwise they're going to just get all over the place. If they make a mess, it's completely YOUR fault.

This update will be a bit of a short one, as much of the work we're into now is a bit spoilery, and we'd hate to ruin the experience with any juicy late-game details.

We've still got a fair bit of story to implement, but many of the big time fillers are behind us now (random NPC conversations take foreeeeever, especially when they're part of a quest and have multiple outcomes).
As for art, we've got one full area and about half of 2 other areas to do, then a fair few closeup/detailed scenes for big story moments. Beyond that, we'll have some animations to do (to liven up the scenes, as some of them are pretty static at the moment), and a good solid death pass. We'd hate to leave you without enough ways to get the character brutally killed. We would never do that to you. We love you far too much to not give you gory pixel death.

Anyway, enough with my babbling! How about some art? This month we've got a pretty park to show you, and some minigames we've not shown before. Isn't that exciting? Yeah, we know, of course it is.

And maybe a few more NPCs?

That's right! We also spent some time this month on a few more minigames! Here, presented completely out of context are snippets from 3 of them.

It was another busy convention month for Akash, but he was able to hook us up with another loverly track (which is quickly becoming one of our favorites)! He's got a bit of polishing to do (including looping it for use in game, but have a listen!

There isn't too much stuff to wrap up here, but we'd humbly request once more that you pass around our Greenlight. By the statistics we're given on our management page for greenlight, we are extremely close to being pushed through. All signs indicate that we'll likely be in the next 2 batches of games greenlit. If we get a nice push towards the end here, there's a chance we could be in the next batch! Of course, you never know for sure what Valve will Greenlight, but we're pretty confident we will be (and soon)! Super exciting!

Alrighty friends, that's all for this month. Back to work we go! Much love!
