Addendum

Hello again, nice to see you so soon! Ryan and Jon still here to bring you another bit of information regarding this last update.

We gave a shoutout to a project at the end of the update that we wanted to follow up on.
It has been brought to our attention that this project is most likely engaging in extremely shady behavior. There have been a fair few posts over in their comments section that have dug through the backers list on the project and turned up what very convincingly seem to be fake accounts (accounts created in the last month or two, with limited activity, and sometimes, fictional locations). This all appears to be for the purpose of meeting the criteria to have their funds doubled by the nice folks over at OUYA.

We won't tell you not to back, in fact, the game still seems fun, and the writing witty. We will say that both of us feel that these practices are shady at best, fraud at worst, and you should back at your own risk.

Cheers, and nice sleuthing work, Riggo (et al).

      Good to know.
Personally, I refrained from backing the Watson game because of the six months exclusivity.

Yeah, something shady is definitely going on there. I ended up pulling out a few days ago because of these "phantom backers". I think the devs themselves are on the level, but OUYA is most likely manipulating things here.

If you're looking for an adventure game to back without all the seediness, try Octopus City Blues. As an added bonus, it too has a nostalgic graphical style.
