Our goal at PRO3D is to bring STEREO into the mainstream, we want to make it easy for everyone to explore exotic places - Kom Ombo, Potala, Ararat, Tycho. Places that you may never get to see in person. We want everyone in the world to see the mars landing 'In STEREO' - In Real Time. We have hopes of STEREO Webcams at Burning Man, Times Square, Venice and Tahrir Square. We want grandma to pop in her phone and watch the children open the presents without need of cables, cords, plugs, apps or straps.
We want a sturdy recyclable product that's not made of cardboard.
We do not believe that a box strapped to your head is a viable means of entertainment.
In short we have lofty goals, we have future plans for a simple capture device and other phone and tablet STEREO attachments, but they all start right here with this Kickstarter campaign.
The iPhone 6 Plus is the perfect size for Virtual/Stereo viewing!

Risks and challenges
Challenges? It's raining challenges up in here.
I'm plenty familiar with tool design and injection molding, in fact I've brought in vendors that I've worked with before. I could not find a state side vendor to do the lens so I searched internationally. I found the guys in India and I thought so much of them that I decided to go with them. These guys love this stuff and went to great end to get pricing where it needed to be.
I've brought in Aaron Kanai to do logistics and packaging, Damon Hunter for distribution, Ann Monn for airbrush. I've also talked Laura Hess to handle the books and dealing with India.
I think that with this team there are no obstacles we can't overcome.
