About this project
Welcome to Build-o-saurs, a brand new interactive book app from 2Rich Productions. Well, it’s not an app yet. That’s where you come in. We need your help to satisfy the Build-o-saurs cravings of tiny tykes all over the world.
As you can see, Build-o-saurs are kind of like dinosaurs crossed with construction equipment. They’re not machines, they’re just special dinosaurs who are born to build! And they're also born to be the perfect kids app for your tablet/smart phone.
Interactive book apps are a wonderful way for kids to learn and have fun on a mobile device. But we don’t think the format is currently being used as cleverly as possible. We want to do more than just give kids images to move around on a page. Our young readers will actually help move the story forward with their actions. And it’s not just educational, it’s fun. Readers will be playing with the Build-o-saurs as they read or listen to the story. So Build-o-saurs is really a book, a game and a toy all in one.
So, who are these two Rich’s who need your help? Build-o-saurs creator and writer, Richard Clark, has had years of experience writing for kids TV shows, with over a hundred produced credits and several award nominations. Richard Murray, designer and animator of Build-o-saurs, has been a professional illustrator, web designer and animator for over 20 years.
Our initial plan is to offer Build-o-saurs in the Apple App Store (for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch), but the more donations we get from you, the more outlets we’ll be able to add such as Android and others. Also, with more donations comes more funtionality – original music, more interactivity, more pages – the list goes on.
Who knows where the Build-o-saurs story will go? If you donate, you can say that you were in on the ground floor of Build-o-saurs. In fact, it wouldn’t have happened without you. And the Build-o-saurs will always be grateful!
