Issue 2 Ebooks are Ready and Preview of Issue 3
Issue 2 Ebooks and Corrected Version
Fellow Skelo-Tens! This is an update that is a long time coming. As many of you know, issue 2 went to print with an early version of the manuscript that still contained a few typos. That has been corrected and it is now available again on all the usual online vendors. We have also completed the ebook versions of issue 2 with the corrections made. We will be sending out the download links to everyone who ordered issue 2, including those who only ordered the print version – call it a fancy errata sheet.
In order to make sure that our quality control is at the high standards our readers expect, we have added two new copy editors to the staff as well as two new poetry editors. We want to make sure that Skelos is one of the best weird fiction magazines available.
We are also putting the finishing touches on Issue 3 and we plan to have a proof copy available for viewing at the Skelos booth at NecronomiCon Providence next week. Print copies should be ready to go out in few weeks. But for you backers, here is a sneak peak of the line-up!
We will have short fiction by Ed Erdelac, Lynne Jamneck, Keith Taylor, Scott Cupp, Michelle Muenzler, Cynthia Vespia, Christopher Fulbright, John Fultz, Rhonda Eudaly, Josh Rountree, and S. Boyd Taylor; novelettes by John C. Hocking and Chris Gruber. Poetry by Peter Rawlik, Ashley Dioses, K. A. Opperman, Wade German, Chad Hensley, Aurelia Wilder, and Pat Calhoun; essays by Bobby Derie and Jack Staines; a gallery of Southern Gothic imagery by photographer Aimee Reist; and incredible artwork by Tim Truman, Esteban Maroto, Allen Kozowski, Mr. Zarono and many more!
