I have not received my unit and have emailed them a number of times without any reply. It this a scam?
XCraft are dealing with my complaint.
My last attempt at getting the xc plus 1 to hover. It flipped and crashed!! It is now a wreck. I have heard nothing back from this company since I sent them a mail. I will keep people posted on what they do about this. I obviously want a refund! https://www.youtube.com/watch…
My X PlusOne arrived today and I was so excited to receive it. However it is a dud.
I painstakingly put it together as per the YouTube video. It was a simple build. My first problem came when I had to insert the battery for the first flight. It is impossible to get all of the wires into the compartment and put the lid on! I had to jam everything in and tape on the hatch - very poor design. I could have modded to fix that by myself, but the worst was to come.
I followed the first flight video on you tube and took the craft outside for its first flight. It wont hover!! Every time I try to take off it tries to go forward. The switches on the controller are all forward/up as per instructions, but as I try to take it up it tilts forward and crashes. Complete rubbish and these are supposed to be individually tested!!!
I'm sorry but this is completely unacceptable at this price. I want to return it for a refund.
Will you accept a trade up to your RTL Drone - Platinum (Ai version) ?
(I have not flown this drone as I want to be sure it will return to where launched)
Can anyone talk about their experience with the x plus one and or their impressions of it? I'm still anxiously waiting for mine
Finally got the item but a little disappointed with the overall quality of the aircraft. Expected the body to be made from durable plastic rather then foam which probably will last a few flights. Fixing it together is a little tricky Coz foam joints will give way eventually.
Haven't been able to take it out for a test flight. Seriously doubt this will item will last beyond 1-2 months.

I realize that your order numbers have changed from your original Kickstarter numbers because we have condensed all of our outlets into a single template to lessen confusion and mistakes. Backer #268: How about this? 1) Tell everyone what their 'order #' is, and 2) Provide a realistic timeframe. 7+ months passed due is a lifetime in the electronics world.
#61 All, it seems your backer number means less than I had thought. According to Devyn @ Xcraft:
"we are fulfilling our Kickstarter orders in the order that they were placed. However, Kickstarter is only one of many sources that we feature orders from. We have integrated all sources of orders and compiled them into a more accurate list to process them."

We've shipped all the DIY kits as well as some pre-orders that were outside of Kickstarter. We will be sending individualized emails soon with your exact position in line. This is something many of you have asked for.
It was stated in the campaign email this morning that 150 drones were delivered. Does this figure include DIY kits? I'm backer #147 so would it be a correct assumption to say that my drone is in transit to my door step?

All- I just called their number and talked to Eileen. She is very gracious and sends all of us her apologies for the lack of communication. Xcraft has a communication mgr (my term not theirs) who should start Monday and handle all of their social media. We ought to get regular updates then.
The bad news is that production has stopped for two weeks. (I think she said they are waiting for material) She estimates that even with this delay, my unit (#61) should arrive near the end of February.

When am I (or anyone) going to get our kit? I am losing faith fast and may need to go for a refund before there is a Zano type rush!

Seriously, offering an honest update should not scare you. You had plenty of time to write "Our Story" on Dec 3rd. Is the number one a day? That's fine, just say something. To date we have had zero serious updates concerning the order fulfillment rate. We're all being super patient and want to adjust our expectation to the reality. I'm not even in a hurry to get mine, just hoping for some respect and consideration for all of us backers. Please! I'm begging you, may we please have an actual update? At the very least, if new orders are 90 days, then everyone should have their unit by 21 April 2016. If that's not right, at least please say something.

Can we have a production update
Can you guys please let us know how many units you guys have actually completed and sent out to backers? So far all I see are numbers and possible delivery dates etc... Can we see real results rather then possibility. Thanks for the hard work but please keep talking to us.
We know you are all wondering where we are with delivery. We gave a rough formula in the last update to provide an idea but it isn't an exact science. We have delivered all DIY's and approximately 30 of the RTF/Ai. Production is slower than we all hoped but the rate is improving. To those still waiting-hang in there. We are getting closer!
The numbers don't add up is correct, I got word that end of January or Mid February is the ETA for delivery for me, I'm below 50.

Nov 17th the update said that parts were received and things could start moving.
Nov 25th it was noted nearly 15% or almost 39 units were done. That's an average of 5 a day, working through the weekend)
Assuming the Thanksgiving holiday & weekends were taken off, at the lowest rate of 3 a day, 33 more units should have shipped by now.
The numbers don't seem to add up. The last update noted how many more orders are rolling in from Shark Tank and plans to expand. Happy to hear all of that for your business. Right now, most of us would probably prefer to understand the rate of fulfillment though. It's looking like under 3 a day.
If you own a drone in the U.S., you must register it with the Federal Aviation Administration's Unmanned Aircraft System registry. A federal law effective December 21, 2015 requires unmanned aircraft registration. Register before January 20, 2016 and your $5 registration fee will be refunded!

In an update that 15% of pledges had been delivered around 4th December which means that 39 had been completed
Using the production schedule of between 3 and 8 per day.
Assuming 3 a day = 56 days or 11 5 day weeks Aka Mid March
Assuming 8 a day = 21 days or 4 5 day weeks Aka early/mid January
So somewhere between Jan and March my Drone will arrive.
PS: Math is not my strong point so if anyone wants to check my figures I will not be offended.
