Still painting!

Posted by Charles Cushing (Creator)

Dear "Backers" and other friends,

My exhibit "Painting Buenos Aires" opened last weekend at Buttonwood Dance Studio and will remain up through March. There are 14 paintings and 14 drawings on display, including two large "works in progress" based on the smaller work actually executed in Buenos Aires. The artwork is visible during all of the regularly scheduled tango classes and events, or by special appointment. You an call me for information (267-679-7853) or visit

I have fulfilled all of the obligations to my backers, with the exception of the "fileteado" signs, which I am commencing this week. I also have prints available of four of the paintings from the trip, and am considering printing others. I have started a page on my website of the Buenos Aires work.

At this point, I am already thinking of returning to Buenos Aires next fall, and am considering another Kickstarter project to help finance the trip. Now that I have 'tested the waters" i feel like I could be even more productive, and of course there are many more things I would like to paint there! As always, i am interested in commissioned work, so if any of you are desirous of having a specific scene, etc., painted, or have any suggestions, don't hesitate t contact me.

Thank you all again for making this project so successful!

Hi Charles - I enjoyed your exhibit and chatting with you there. I have my print framed and hanging in my home. It is spectacular. Love it. I would be pleased to join in as a sponsor for your next trip to BA. Many thanks,
