After a solid year in New York performing comedy, Directing short films, and Producing a biweekly web series, I'm ready to move on to a bigger project, and I've got a fantastic team to help me.

"Kinda Related" is a show about three half-brothers, Ashley, Whitney, and Conner who reunite in New York City when newly graduated Conner decides to crash on Ashley's couch.  Optimistic Ashley tries to show Conner the wonders of the city, but things don't go exactly as planned.  Whitney doesn't make things any easier with his insistence that Conner has no potential.

Alongside the brothers are a slew of fun supporting characters, including Ashley's live-in girlfriend Elsa, Whitney's co-worker Candeee, and the duo's favorite actor: Stupid Pretty Chris.

If you enjoy shoving peanut butter sandwiches into faces, magicians auditioning to be waiters, fighting over chest hair, pouring milk on a loved one's hand, and more brotherhood insanity, then you'll want to see this pilot get made.

We will be updating this page regularly as new cast members, crew members, and video updates present themselves. We can't wait to start these projects in August, and the first table read is in a couple of weeks.

The entire team is donating their time (just because they love film!), and your contribution helps cover important costs such as equipment rental, craft services, material expenses (batteries, tape, etc.), and film festival submission fees. We do a lot of film completely out of our own pockets, but we believe so strongly in this project that we want to make sure we give it everything we got!

Check out the info below to see full video of previous projects as well as a short breakdown of the confirmed cast.

Our funny, funny cast.
Our funny, funny cast.

Chris Roberti ("Ashley") recently completed his own TV pilot Directorial debut with Broken Toaster Productions.  He plays at the Peoples Improv Theater with the house team "Birds" and produces his own weekly web content, including a recent run at Channel 101.

Giancarlo Osaben ("Conner") is the baby of the group, having recently graduated college himself.  J. W. and he collaborated on the web series "JAMZ" where he rowed a boat in Central Park, among other things.  He's also co-creator of Dizzy People's Comedy, a sketch group.

Julie Sharbutt ("Elsa") is also a member of the Peoples Improv Theater's house team "Birds", as well as  many other fun projects.  One of those was a feature length film shot completely in one take.  Seriously.

Monique Moses ("Candeee") is a member of PIT house sketch team "Big Business" and online sketch trio "Take Out". She also improvises with indie team "Day Camp Kids", and 10000hrs team "TickleParty!".

Kyle Zalek ("Stupid Pretty Chris") is also a Peoples Improv Theater house team member, being featured every week with house team "Seer/sucker".  He recently starred in "No Talking Attached", a video featured on CollegeHumor's home page.

J. W. Crump ("Whitney") can apparently write a good bio for everyone else, but not his own.
