Hello there music lovers, poetry lovers, theater lovers, art lovers, historians, philosophers, and Rubato Appassionato & Gary fans! We really hope you can help us with our project "En los Kampos de la Muerte"!

We started this Kickstarter because we have an opportunity to make a show we believe has a very strong and important message. It's a story about the rotten fruits of a terrible human phenomenon called racism in its most extreme form known to date: the Holocaust.

This project is just beginning now and our first dates are coming up very soon. During these dates we will have the opportunity to begin working on our show in a theater in Cáceres (Spain) called La Nave del Duende. Our project was chosen by this theater for an artistic residency. On the 1st of April we will need to present our work to the open public.

Here is further information about the show (in English):

 (and in Spanish):

So, what are we asking for?

We're asking for your help in making it possible for us to create this first step of the project. We have costs we need to cover to be able to make this artistic residency happen. The main costs have to do with our travel to Cáceres from Madrid & Barcelona and our expenses during our 12-day stay in Cáceres. Other costs will go for our basic costume and stage design.

The theater provides us with an apartment and all of the facilities the theater itself can offer, but nothing else.

Between us 5 adults involved in this project actively (Antonia, Eyal, Sasha, Gary & Jesús) there are also 4 beautiful and wonderful children: Yael, Itay, Balzak & Dalit, whom will be joining us in Cáceres. We've got some amazing grandparents coming over to take care of the children. This will add excitement to the whole project!

Why should you help fund this project?

We believe this project touches some extremely important themes. One is racism. Another is the Holocaust. Another is the Sephardic Jewish heritage of the Spanish culture.

We believe this project will help people be aware of the dangers of racism, hatred and intolerance.

We hope to eventually make an educational program out of this show as well: a program designated for high-school students around Spain. We would like to talk to them about issues such as racism, the Holocaust, the expulsion of the Jews from Spain and Portugal in 1492, the Ladino language, and the dangers of intolerance and racism in the past, present and future which could easily lead to genocide.

Without this first push we will not be able to realize this project and therefore will not be able to do any of this. The show can only happen thanks to you, your generosity and your love for art.

Last but not least: we put together some real EXCITING REWARDS FOR YOU! Don't forget to check them out so that you see what you could be getting immediately in return!

How can you help?

Anything you do to support this project will be of great help to us. Donating 1€ will already help us get closer to our goal. Donating 100€ will make us dance with joy. Even the smallest support will help this project come to life. And it will all be thanks to YOU.

Enjoy it, support us, receive your rewards and be part of this wonderful and powerful project! With your help and generosity we're sure we can reach our goal! Thank you so much in advance! Hugs from Madrid & Barcelona!

Risks and challenges

In case we don't reach our goal of 1200€ we will need to rethink the whole project and see if it's possible for us to make it happen or not. The way Kickstarter works is all or nothing: if we reach or pass our 1200€ goal we get it all, but if we don't reach 1200€ we get nothing. If we make it will be THANKS TO YOU.

Another big challenge is time: we don't have much of it. The deadline for this funding is March 21, 2016. So, if you want to help support and fund this project just go for it! Thanks a lot!
