About this project
Based off laser tag VLL is a game where you can earn points for your team by hitting opponents with lasers. Instead of a standard "first to 50" match, matches will be setup with quarters and time limits to allow the full E-Sport experience.
This is an E-Sports Game to the Next Level
The VLL is a First Person Shooter based around arena environment. Teammates work together to take on opponents throughout a scheduled league to fight for a position into the season tournament. Will your team Make it to the top?
Divisions: VLL is setup in divisions based on your region in the world (Example: Central, Midwest, Pacific, Atlantic) you will play teams in that division that suites your team the best to accommodate to time zones.
Fans: Seasons will be setup with home and away matches. The home team will have the arena decorated in the teams logo along with the fans dressed in your teams attire. When you play a match and your team takes the lead at home, the stadium will erupt in cheers and excitement. Also remember, The more wins the more fans in attendance, the less wins the less fans. Not only are bots in the stand, you can spectate events. Lets say a big event is going on, you can choose the teams that you want to root for and enjoy some great entertainment.
Seasons: Seasons take place four times a year. Schedules will be given to you at random along with your draft order (so you can chose upcoming talent that want to join a team)
Drafting, Trading and Free Agents: So as you know players will be drafted onto teams in a draft lottery. Along with drafts, free agents will be available throughout the season that will allow you to chose the best players to advocate to your team. If you are sick of one of your players or want to gain a new player that will accommodate to your teams play style you can offer trades to another team!
Players of the Week: If you have an extremely good week, you will be nominated for player of the week which will be added to your career stats and it will be shown off on the schedule page for everyone to see.
MVP: Along with the players of the week, each season we will dub one player to be chosen to be the MVP of that season.
Hall of Fame: If you have an extremely good year, you will be nominated with 5 others to be added to the Hall of Fame page for everyone to see for years to come!
Our goal is to make you feel like you are apart of a community that makes you feel like the star!
Virtual Laser League Network: The VLLN is a video network (like ESPN) where we will discuss what is going on in the league. Weather its trade rumors, upcoming stars, or just topics about the league, the VLLN is there to talk about your career.
The Live Gamer: Along with the Virtual Laser League Network, we will be airing a radio show called "The Live Gamer". The show will consist of news about the games progress, game reviews, any topics related to the industry. We will also allow fans to call in to discuss any topic that they are interested in talking about. By doing that we will be able to get to know the community and see what ideas they want implemented into the game.
Some matches will be streamed, just because you are not ranked doesn't mean you wont be chosen to be broadcasted.
What is the Money Going to?
Development Process- We work over 60 hours a week and we would like to be able to work full time to create this exciting game!
Software- The software we are using can cost a pretty penny to purchase so we plan to use some of the funds to help pay for the license software along with equipment used to make the Virtual Laser League Network as well as the radio show "The Live Gamer".
Advertisement: As much as we love to talk about our game, spreading the word cost a little bit of money.
Surviving: Food, money, gas and rent. Basic things to keep us going until the game is released!
Documentary: We are creating a Documentary of our entire development process. The ups and downs will all be filmed for you to see! With this Kickstarter, we want to give you everything you expect in an E-Sport experience!

Why we want to make a game:
We wanted to be able to make a game that we truly believe in. This game has everything that an E-Sports game should. A radio show, a Network show that talks about teams you created, players that have shined or rising talent, and just a great connection with fans and players alike. This game has a lot of great potential to bring E-Sports games to the next step but we need your help!
Thank you for checking out our kickstarter page. We appreciate your support!
Risks and challenges
We understand that we are risking our current jobs to persue our dreams but we know that if we are given the opportunity we will not let you down. Opportunities like this don't happen all the time, and with that in mind we understand how important it is to deliver a great product.
Along with the risk there is the challenge of getting this game finished in a short time period but we are dedicated to working on this game around the clock. We will be setting weekly goals so that we can keep on track with our date as well as keeping the fans in the loop with the games progressLearn about accountability on Kickstarter
The VLL Network is a daily live episode in which we will discuss teams playing in the season, player news and other things going on in the Virtual Laser League.
If your match is one of the games that is chosen for the game of the night, we will have a pre game show on the VLL Network. We will discuss team stats, player comparisons and starting lineups. When the match begins, we will have play by play of the match. At the end of the game we will have player interviews and a post game show. We want to set the bar high for the future of eSports games.
Matches are setup in Quarters. There will be 4 quarters in each match with 8 minute time periods for each Quarter. This is to give the game a more sporty feel and it will allow more intense matches.
