We are at the first stages of a farming prototype system, so we want allow players to harvest their own vegetables, fruits and even pumpkins!! This stuff can be used to craft another things like potions and refined meal with powerful properties.

We want implement a wide range of quests in Moon Child. Not only you must destroy mobs or bosses, you'll should listen other survivors and help them. Escort Lucille, the baker's daughter, into a save place.
We are working hard to make a truly vast world for Moon Child. You can explore in a lot of different terrains and adapt your survival mode to challenging weather conditions.
When you explore Moon Child's world, sometimes you'll find settlements or little towns with other survivors inside. Speak and try to help them in order to obtain some interesting rewards. But other times, this settlements can be a deathly trap.
In Moon Child's there are many types of animals living around the world. Kooy should learn and improve his hunt skills to collect meat, skin or other materials in order to survive or craft a long range of gear. Every ecosystem will have their own wildlife, so Kooy must travel around the world discovering new species.
We are implementing a special combo system to convert every fight in an exciting challenge. Players can obtain more attacks and movements with each weapon they equip, so you'll should adapt your combat style againt all monsters.
Papyrus not only allows you to craft gear for Kooy, you can craft a wide range of potions and food as invisibility potions, speed boosts elixirs or antiviral dishes.

The Earth is dying. Monsters always have tried to destroy the humankind on centuries and centuries of evilness and subterfuges with no success... but finally they have found the way. They focus their dark power against the Sun to create the biggest eclipse ever and cover all earth with darkness. Life is disappearing slowly and at the same time, people loses their dreams and happiness. No possible salvation.
Or maybe yes. Moon has a child. He is a Kiowa native and lives in the jungle with his tribe. His name is Kooy and means "wolf" in kiowa's lenguage. He doesn't know it yet, but he'll become the last hope for the planet. Help Kooy to destroy powerful monsters and close all portals around, explore abandoned villages finding secrets and treasures, survive hunting animals into the wild and discover his real origin and fate while you live an epic adventure across the world.
Design and art of Moon Child’s universe gets a free inspiration from anime Princess Mononoke, Future Boy Conan and another works of Miyazaki, triyng to mixing in a same way epic fantasy with magical elements.
In addition, gameplay take features of other videogames like Zelda series, Terraria, Spellbound, Monster Hunter or even Wonder Boy, but we are working hard for make our own style.
In Moon’s Child you play like Kooy, a legendary moon child, who needs to explore a vast world, searching the portals used by monsters to travel from their underworld and destroy all of them before the Earth die. Every time you destroy a boss, a portion of Sun will be liberate from his curse.
- Solve mental challenging riddles to close portals. The most of them requires explore caverns and ancient books.
- Explore every corner searching secret treasures or settlements with side quests. Some villagers can give you special rewards if you help them.
- Hunt animals and search other kind of food for a survive alone in the world. Plants, meat and fresh water are good for great survivor.
- Tame some animals to discover hidden zones on the map.
- Gameplay is non-linear, so you will find some monsters apparently indestructible. Each one of them has a weapon based weakness , so you need to craft new materials, weapons and armor sets to reach their weak point.
Moon Child won’t have experience levels. Instead of it, we are implementing a gear mastery system , so you will be able to upgrade weapons and armor parts if you equip them against monsters. How more uses them, more skills can be unlocked. You have dozens of skill trees, allowing to create a truly unique combat style.
In order to obtain new gear, you need to get papyrus. These papyrus works like blueprints with instructions for craft your gear. You can find those items around the world, inside bosses or some sidequests. But is not so simple like that, every papyrus is pierced in a few parts (depending of his tier), so only can craft a new gear if you find all pieces. There are a lot of sets to be discovered, Good luck!

Monsters not the only menaces for Kooy. The own world is a powerful enemy, so be careful with Snow storms, Sand Tornados and rainy days thanks to our dynamic weather system and cloud system.

Every territory of the map have a type of weather so take care of your health status often or a simple rain could you get sick and die.
The project is developed by 2 young but experienced guys who one year ago decided to do their dreams come true.
He works on several mobile games during more than 10 years. Game Designer focused, also 3D/2D Artist , UI designer and even music composer, he’s our orchestra man.

Moon Child won’t to be a game “easy to make” by two people. There are a lot of features, animations, graphics and assets to design until will be finished, so we’re going to invest backer funds to recruit more guys in every production stage.
We'll focus our efforts in art assets and quality animations to refine the combat system and monsters mechanics, but we won't forget other important stuff like programming, soundtrack and story script.
We have a dream… a multiplayer game with a lot of moon childs from different tribes exploring, fighting against monsters, solving in exciting quests in a cooperative mode, trade papyrus and stuff or just solving riddles together but we have bad news: it needs tons of money. But with your helps, some dreams comes true.

Risks and challenges
Once the Kickstarter is done, the real adventure begins. Make enough content to properly fill out hours of gameplay. That's the true challenge.
Our intention is make a near AAA quality game with indie spirit so it will be a high risk if we don’t work hard and invest Kickstarter Budget wisely.
Game development can be a harsh taskmaster, with time and financial constraints often providing unexpected challenges that can ultimately lead to changes and delays. Fortunately, we have a clear vision of what we want and our goals are realistic and serious with no castles in the sky.
A game with this size, always can suffer fails and delays, but we'll work with tenacity for minimize all negative impacts that probably can occur (even actual best games in the market are susceptible to this).
