The Variable Density Sound Orchestra in New York is a new recording project taking place on January 3rd, 2012 in Brooklyn NY. I am asking for your involvement to help cover expenses for the recording studio, mixing, production, distribution and promotion of the CD. Your contributions will also support the exceptional artists involved in this project. The release date is September 2012.
Variable Density Sound Orchestra: Guitarist Garrison Fewell founded the VDSO in 2008 and released two recordings on the Creative Nation Music label. As the name implies, the VDSO is not a fixed group, but an actively changing and growing collective of improvising musicians and composers from around the world. With varied nationalities, ethnic and gender backgrounds, the VDSO conducts improvisational dialogues that transcend boundaries and promote cultural diversity in creative music.
We hope to get you involved in the creation of this recording! Thanks to the contributions of dedicated individuals like yourselves, creative music continues to thrive. Members of the Variable Density Sound Orchestra are also involved in social justice issues, bringing attention to the importance of culture in today's society through creativity and improvisation.
