Intro
The Phoenix and the Dragon started as a pop-up inside a local grocery store in Jackson, Wyoming. We (Eric and Zarina Sakai), a husband-and-wife team, looooooove our Jackson Hole community and home, but we missed the foods of our childhood, so we successfully introduced bold, flavorful Asian cuisine to the community. It's been nearly a year and we are ready to continue our journey into our own brick and mortar location!

Vision
Our vision for The Phoenix and the Dragon brick and mortar is inspired by the combination of the mash up of our Asian cultures. Eric was born of a Chinese mom and Japanese dad in Oregon and raised in the melting pot of Honolulu, Hawaii. Zarina is 100% Filipino built but raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Tasty places that we want to represent right here in our home of Jackson, Wyoming. Our counter-service style meets restaurant ambiance has never been done here before!

Food + Drink
Our brick and mortar will offer menu items built on the colorful, aromatic, vibrant, bold, healthy and diverse cuisines of Asia. Let us take you on an authentic journey! Look forward to our Beef Pho, Pork Belly Ramen, handmade dumplings and lumpia, rice dishes and more! We plan to be open for lunch, dinner and brunch. Our location is a beloved space on Glenwood Street that we hope to restore and make part of the community once again. Our space will have a thoughtfully curated selection of unique Asian distilled spirits, cocktails, beer and wine to match. We will also be offering an in-depth artisan tea program featuring many rare and limited release teas.

Risks and challenges
We are a small business, meaning we're doing this on our own and are thankful that our landlords really believe in us. But, our challenges include having the initial capital and sufficient funds to start the business. We still need to touch up and make improvements on the space we've acquired. We hope to open this month and with your help, we can continue pushing this extensive project forward!
