About this project
The wait is over, My Mom's House is ready for print!
It all started when my mom was out of town for New Years last year. The rest, well the pictures should tell you what happened next.
What I ended up with was a collection of nudes strewn about my mother's 70's modern house tucked away in her sleepy, wooded Atlanta neighborhood. There's some sexy, some classic, and some just plain what-the-fuck but mainly there's a whole lotta naked!
Now it's time to print my first photobook.
(even when it's over, information will always be available at www.mymoms.house)
The first edition 8.5x5.5in paperback book will be sheetfed printed on 100lb paper and saddlestich bound. 32 pages with close to 50 black and white images, all shot in My Mom's House, hand numbered and signed.
Support at any reward level and the standard photobook is yours!
It only gets better from there. Read down the options for multiple photobooks, limited edition fine art prints (available in postcard, normal, and HOLY SHIT! sizing) as well as the ultimate collector's edition 11x17 artist print book! You can even have your picture taken in My Mom's House! You might just want your portrait made, so no, you don't have to be naked, but it's probably more fun if you are.
Better still, you can commission YOUR HOUSE! Just shoot me a message first so we can chat about the realities of the project and what your expectations are.
But I want to see the pictures on the internet! Why a book? - sorry
A small series will be released digitally at some point, but the full 50+ image work will only appear in the printed pages of the book. Some things are just better on paper, I promise My Mom's House is one of them.
I really hope you enjoy My Mom's House as much as I do, it isn't so bad living here after all.
Risks and challenges
I've been at it for a while and am overjoyed to share with you that the hardest work is done! (You thought it was easy to get this all done with my mom out of the house?)
The big obstacle that remains for this project is the cost of physical printing, which is why I need your support.
The images are ready to print and I would love nothing more than to put them in the hands of those who want to see them!
