Imagine an independent community magazine that tells the story of the people who are fortunate to live, work and regularly visit Crouch End, Muswell Hill, Highgate, East Finchley and the surrounding areas.
Think of a beautifully designed magazine you can thumb through in your favourite café, pub or hang out to discover the mysteries of the area and dig deep into the soul of the community you feel most connected to.
Wouldn't you love to tell your own unique stories of projects, culture, creativity, crafters, makers, artists, musicians, writers, thinkers, places, events and history and share them with the people of the local area?
LET'S MAKE THIS REAL.
The magazine will be free, every two months and will be available online and in public spaces. The first issue is set to be launched at the Crouch End Festival this June.

Risks and challenges
As long as the Kickstarter reaches its target we will create the first two issues. Future issues should also be sustainable through advertising and funding. Other local publications have all demonstrated that this model can and does work. We will also look for additional funding and grant opportunities where available, as well as online opportunities. Primarily though, we want to produce a model of quality that the community will like and read. We will also endeavour to make sure that all of the advertising is relevant to the community.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
