483 backers pledged $95,078 to help bring this project to life.

Triumphant at $80,000!

Posted by TEVERETERNO (Creator)

Incredible! We made our $80,000 goal. A HUGE thanks to all of our backers for supporting us with your pledges and by spreading the word!

If you haven’t yet supported the campaign, you can still take part in creating this extraordinary public art project. There are nine days to go, and some fantastic rewards are still available. The additional funds raised will help cover musician fees and production costs for the grand theatrical spectacle that will open William Kentridge's Triumphs and Laments on April 21-22.

And ... the artist's conversation continues!

A friend of mine was just in Rome for his birthday last week and sent me photos of the work-in-progress after I posted about this project. Can't wait to see it in person!!

I love this! The fact that you are showing history on the walls of the Tiber river and then using a method of elimination of grime and dirt to portray it! I am intrigued by Giordano Bruno... wonderful statue of him and I wish i could recall where i saw it. Hope his image comes forth on the wall.
