This is our Promise.
When we started gathering fans and friends, such as yourself, we realized there is something more to writing rock ‘n’ roll that isn’t just about mending our own heartbreak, but also the heartbreak of others. As we’ve all felt at some point in our darkest nights and brightest mornings a song can comfort or even propel the most alienated of emotions. We care deeply about this cause just as deeply as the presentation and progression of our art but desperately need your help to make it all possible.
To afford this affluent creative environment and sound, we will need to raise $4000. That is why we are asking you for your support to help us continue this craft that is so dear to our hearts and many others. Any amount you give will follow with our sincere gratitude. We are extremely proud and excited for you to hear this record but we lack the funds thus far to make it happen.
We want to give back to you in sake of all the blessings rock ‘n’ roll has given us in our lives. This is why we have worked so hard the past year to prefect our upcoming record “Show Yr Teeth”. To achieve the highest level of production value we have chosen The Key Club, a recording studio in Benton Harbor, Michigan where one of our beloved bands The Kills chose to produce two of their records.
For nine days and eight nights we will show our teeth and do you proud. Again, we are calling on our fans and friends for the financial support of our art as you have already done so in many other ways in the past. For that we are in your debt to which we promise we will deliver a rock ‘n’ roll record of the highest quality and most earnest integrity we’re capable of.
The Kickaways is a Cincinnati rock group formed from the love and passion of four friends who had to play rock n roll. In just one year, the group recorded and put out their first record, America! This time around they are moving to the big leagues, and that means they need money. The Kickaways new record will be called "Show Yr Teeth" and will be recorded in a studio in Michigan called The KeyClub. Now more then ever they need your help to fund their highly anticipated sophomore record. Make sure to check out the treats for donators. The Kickaways want to thank everyone out there who believed in them and believe in the potential of their second record.
