This month we will be heading back into the studio to record a brand new full length album! While touring the US and Europe the past two years, RFQ has continued to grow and develop its sound and fresh approach to Gypsy jazz, pioneered by the legendary guitarist Django Reinhardt in the '30s. The album will feature brand new compositions from each member of the group, along with a few Gypsy jazz classics and even a funky arrangement of the Beatles tune "Come Together". We are all extremely excited to get into the studio, but recording a new album without the backing of a label can be very costly. Here are some of the costs associated with making this new record.
**4 Days of Recording at Rotary Records in Springfield, MA
**Multi-camera video shoot for high-quality EPK and promo videos
**Mixing and Mastering
**Printing 1,000 CDS
**Hire a publicist for promotion
**Graphic design for album artwork
It really starts to add up! That's why we decided to set up this Kickstarter campaign to get our fans involved in the process and give them a platform to help out. With your help we will have the freedom to make an album we are truly proud of and ready to share with you and the world!

Risks and challenges
We feel extremely confident that if we can reach our Kickstarter goal, we will have all the resources to make this project a reality!
Our plan is to release the album early next year and hold the donor concerts in late February or March. All the lessons will take place on a student by student basis, depending on individual schedules.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
