About the Company
Trail Ridge Printing was established as a partnership between Tim Buck and Ron Shumate, two long-time Colorado residents with a shared passion for high-quality screen printed apparel and accessories. With over 45 years of combined experience in the screen printing industry, Tim and Ron were ready for a new chapter in their careers.
We purchased the company in 2017 in an endeavor to pursue creative work that would keep us closer to our kids and allow us to put down deeper roots in our community. We became familiar with Trail Ridge Printing after working closely with the original owners on a product line for The Grey House, a mountain boutique that Dena co-owns with her sister.

About the Brand
We completely redesigned the company logo, incorporating a geometric mountainscape to convey the spirit of a new adventure for our family (four peaks — one for each of us). A key detail in the design references a local landmark and company namesake, Trail Ridge Road, the highest continuous paved road in the US. A lone ink drop serves as a reminder that the most rewarding work often comes as the result of blood, sweat, and tears.
About the Goods
We launched this project featuring some of our favorite ultra-soft shirts to help us breathe new life into the company. Depending on the level of support, backers will receive a die cut vinyl sticker featuring the new Trail Ridge printing logo, a Unisex Triblend Tee from Bella + Canvas, or a Kids' Baseball Tee from Los Angeles Apparel. All of the tees are screen-printed with the new Trail Ridge Printing Logo using eco-friendly, water-based ink for an incredibly soft hand feel. There is also an option for backers who would like a package of 10 tees with their own custom design using a single color in one location. All rewards will be delivered by December 15, 2017.
You can help us to continue the story of Trail Ridge Printing, working closely with clients to tell a better story, creating or developing any print job from concept to finished product.
By backing this project, you'll help us to deepen our roots in our community and carry on the legacy of Trail Ridge Printing as Estes Park's premier provider of handcrafted screen printed apparel and accessories.
Risks and challenges
We recognize the potential risk that may come with producing a large volume of shirts for potential backers. However, we believe given our history with the company that we will be able to meet all delivery deadlines by budgeting sufficient time between orders and production. We have also accounted for any potential supply shortages by choosing color and product options that are rarely out of stock.
While there will be other jobs in production in the print shop, we are confident that we can meet the demand of our backers by adjusting production schedules to accommodate our backers along with any incoming orders.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
