This summer we finally open our first brick & mortar location - a nostalgic destination drive-in restaurant at the end of downtown Troutdale, on the banks of the Sandy River, called the Sugarpine Drive-In.
We're restoring a 1920's gas station on the Historic Columbia River Highway; reimagining it as a fast-casual restaurant serving soft serve ice cream, classic sandwiches, snacks, beer, wine & refreshments. We're putting our local & seasonal spin on classic comfort foods; bringing nostalgic flavors & novelties to travelers coming through the Columbia River Gorge, and patrons of Glenn Otto Community Park - a popular swimming beach on the banks of the Sandy River.
We plan to open Sugarpine Drive-In this July, but we need your help to pull it all off!
We’re investing all of our savings into the buildout of Sugarpine's commercial kitchen, the home of Larch Provisions, our full service catering company (established 2015).
To bring the rest of the space to life we’ll be counting on your support. We’re trying to raise an additional $20,000 in the next month to help pay for the buildout of the restaurant side of the business. This includes infrastructure for the drive thru and patio deck space, tables & chairs, soft serve equipment, building repairs & updates.
We’re doing a lot of the construction ourselves with a ton of help from the city of Troutdale and our amazing Corbett and Portland community. Big thanks to our friends and family for all their support so far. We can't wait to share this with all of you!
Cheers to the Summer of Soft Serve!

Risks and challenges

We're confident in our food and service, and we promise to always do right by our guests and our community.
