About

You arrive at the town of Ergül, it is a small town, very small; some would say it does not even merit to be called a town. After being lost for a couple days even this small haven, is very welcome.

The Village has a small tavern, on the wooden sign hanging outside the door is a carving of an Axolote holding a foamy mug. The tavern is made of wooden planks, the second level appears never to have been finished. The other building on town is a small stone-walled house. Outside the tavern you see a humanoid figure, much like the Axolote, holding a foamy mug, he waves at you and invites you into his tavern.

All pledge levels are for 3d printable .STL files, in all pledges are included both Dragonbite and Openlock compatible frames, that can be used with other tiles of this systems. Make sure to visit them and see their catalog, they have some amazing things.

This campaign will probably be our last one, we plan on going out on a bang!. First, the new campaign format. This campaign will work a bit different from our other campaigns it will have an update each time a stretch goal is broken, but limited to 1 update/ day. This will let us develop a story throughout the campaign. I wanted to bring a different tone to the campaign, where the stretch goals aren't just more stuff you get. You will also get a bit of story of the Town, its surroundings, and some fun encounters, all represented by 3d models and real rewards of course.

There will also be a number of different updates on Wednesday and Saturday, where we will show WIP, answer questions and show new printed things! This will happen every Wednesday and Saturday for the duration of the campaign.

This set contains tiles to create a town, this set is optimized to a 3x3 tile size (this only means that most tiles are 3x3 and 3 inch walls, however there are many textures that also come in other sizes as well), this is due to two reasons. One, it is thus completely massive darkness and black plague (and soon green horde) compatible, you will be able to recreate your maps in 3d. Second, 2x2 size has always felt too small for me when building houses, 3x3 is a better size, this means bigger houses and less printing overall.

Some parts of the bar are still WIP, there will me MORE tiles, since some I did not feel the need to add to the picture, this set has about 40 textures (walls and floors) and will keep expanding throughout the campaign!

 

This set contains tiles to create dungeons and caves, this set is optimized to a 2x2 tile size (this only means that most tiles are 2x2 and 2 inch walls, however there are many textures that also come in other sizes as well), while town was optimized for 3x3, dungeons are perfect fit for 2x2 tiles.

This set has the following tiles:

 There are about 20 tiles not shown in the picture, I am still working on some textures, but you can get the gist of it. With caves I am aiming for making truly irregular looking caves, with the extruding walls you can have them be on top of the tile texture without having to make too many wall variations and keeping the overall structure pretty simple. Traps will be easier to use (and conceal :p), so will secret doors, no more players looking for secret doors exactly where they are because the print is easy to identify. There is also a small green demon mask on the files...

The Nature and Realms sets were my second and third campaigns, if you get this pledge level you will get all the textures for those sets optimized for the new system many will be reworked entirely to make better modular fit and adapting to the new possibilities of the system.

°Note that the current sets on drivethru will not be updated, these are special for this campaign since I have to re-work them to fit the new system and it will take a while. However the lower price for them is a thank you to everybody who helped this sets come true.

Nature Set

Includes, woods, mountain and water expansions, everything for outside encounters and a ton of new possibilities with the new system. Some will be adapted for 3x3 size since most outsides are larger in scale.

Realms Set

Realms set, includes SIX cultural textures for dungeons or cities! this is a great set if you want your dungeons to look more unique or add a special building to your town. at least one tile and one wall will be adapted per set to the 3x3 modularity to make them compatible with the town.

Each of these sets includes more than 100 textures EACH! it is a great opportunity to add a very complete library. A side-note is any add-ons or extras for the campaigns (except beasts) are included in pledge levels that have these sets.

 The Bestiary this time has a fun format. The bestiary starts with 5 beasts (red) those are included from the get-go. There are 15 beasts left to discover, each Dungeon Denizen level pledge that is claimed automatically unlocks one beast for everyone on a pledge level that includes the bestiary. Additionally those backers will be able to propose a beast that will then be modeled and added to the bestiary!

Note that this is not a commission, backers in this level will get the chance to choose a beast of their liking and name it. I will then take over and include that beast to the bestiary. Some limitations are to be taken into account. No humanoid (medium) creatures, only large or huge (nothing too big wither). After the campaign ends I will gather the creatures and release a final list (including my own 5 picks).

 In this campaign stretch goals work a bit different than usual. There is a list of stretch goal which shows which have been unlocked and which have not. You can get a gist of what the stretch goal has by the name (some are more vague than others). Stretch goal updates will be every TWO days, and that day I will upload the picture of the actual items in the stretch goal, as well as a small story of the adventure in which you are participating. However the following list will help you know how much we have unlocked and what you are getting!

This is a campaign promise where we will never be more than 2,000 away from the next stretch goal, this is to entice you to spread the word and tell others, we will always be close to the next unlock!

ADD-ONS

This campaign only has legacy add-ons, meaning that if you have been with us in past campaigns you will probably just need to pledge and you will not need to add anything else. I thought this time it would be simpler to have straight forward pledge levels. There is also an option to buy a commercial license, with this you are entitled to sell tiles at your local shop, your own shop, and through internet (physical prints only, no reselling files).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

New system!

 The new system is intended to save on print time, materials and increase modularity and build options for your dungeons and buildings. We are so confident that the system works and that you will like it that we have released a free thingiverse file with the base E tile and A wall.

The idea for this system is to print less, and have more use for everything you print. Storage also came to mind as we gathered great quantities of tiles and needed bigger boxes to store them all which led to a lot of time searching for tiles in a sea of plastic. The frame-texture system allows you to store all frames together and then arrange your textures by type, this will make building the dungeon you want easier.

Risks and challenges

This being our fourth project we know pretty well how to handle it. Again, as always if the project grows to big for me to handle the 3d design (has not happened thus far) i know a couple 3d modelers that can lend me a hand to meet deadlines.

One thing you might see is that this time there are no commissions, this is because of two reasons. First, I have been working with some companies and individuals and am doing commission work outside of Kickstarter for now. Second is, if there is one thing that has delayed delivery for my campaigns it it commissions, since they take a while to do, plus the back and forth with people tends to drag out a bit, this time all creatures will be done by my standards, so i will be able to deliver them quicker.
