Our experience lies in product design, development, R&D, and manufacturing for the likes of GORUCK and Patagonia.
Kickstarter will allow us to deliver on our promise to let product development drive EVERGOODS. By not taking outside investors - the design room is the board room and the board room is the design room.

Why CROSSOVER backpacks?
We aren't pro athletes. We are normal guys who have been working in the outdoor and lifestyle industries for a combined 20 years. We have designed backpacks tough enough for the harshest environments known to man. We love to get outdoors and get after it but we are husbands and fathers leading busy lives. When we do get outdoors we want durable products that work, that have the same attention to fit, function, and detail as outdoor specific gear but have an aesthetic that looks and performs just as well around town. So we created EVERGOODS.

EVERGOODS by the numbers
We are partnering with an extraordinary land conservation organization : The Gallatin Valley Land Trust. 1% of gross revenue will go towards their efforts protecting open spaces and cultivating the incredible trails in and around Bozeman, MT. We figure we will start where we know we can make a difference, right here in our own backyard.
Please note that per Kickstarter guidelines, we cannot use this crowdfunding project to raise funds for charity. We are ecstatic at the prospect of making EVERGOODS a reality so we can begin giving back in a meaningful way.
We do all product development in house and by hand. This is only possible with the proper tools and machinery.
Here is what it looks like:
- Build the design brief (we both review and sign off)
- Source and begin testing all raw material and trim needs
- Explore the brief via 2d line illustrations (we both review and sign off)
- Work with card stock paper to build 3D models (as many rounds as needed, review then sign off)
- Use 3D models as starting point to create patterns
- Cut fabric and build first sample
- Test in the field (by us and other users)
- Review sample 1
- Explore any adjustments via 3D models
- Transfer adjustments into patterns
- Cut fabric and sew second sample
- Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

He oversaw every product creation (to include the launch of a USA made line of active apparel) in GORUCK's history before leaving the company in January 2016.
Kevin Dee - Head of Product
Kevin's sewing trade is self taught and was refined as a sample maker for several years at Patagonia outdoor apparel. Thank you for your support
Risks and challenges
This is our first Kickstarter but not our first rodeo when it comes to all aspects of product life cycle. We are working with USA manufacturing facilities we have close relationships with and our raw material providers make some of the best fabrics and trims in the world and are used by many top outdoor and lifestyle brands. USA manufacturing is done by humans, mostly by hand, please be understanding if there are slight delays as a result of massive orders. We should be so lucky, right?
Kevin and I will be working with our production partners to ensure that quality assurance happens throughout every step of the manufacturing process. We will both personally inspect, in house at our manufacturing partners' facilities, every single bag before they are then bagged, tagged, and sent off to you.
All EVERGOODS products are guaranteed against manufacturing and material defect. We do not cover the effects of normal wear and tear.
While all of our products are guaranteed for life, we do not offer refunds or returns on items received as Kickstarter rewards.
Import duties and taxes are not included in our reward levels. These charges vary by country and are completely out of our control.Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
